The show of the young brand Halpern at London Fashion Week became one of the most memorable, and there was plenty to choose from. And not only thanks to the extravagant outfits that Beyoncé and Marion Cotillard have already appreciated. The main merit is in the work of the top makeup artist Isamaya French. By the age of 30, she managed to work with Christian Louboutin Beauty, Tom Ford Beauty, Gucci, Valentino, Kenzo, YSL and become a well-deserved make-up trendsetter in the fashion world.

The makeup artist chose non-standard looks for the models that presented the collection of the American designer Michael Halpern. Isamaya preferred almost “naked” faces to complex shooters or bright lipstick. There was only one accent - the area around the eyes, decorated with precious crystals.

Of course, makeup artists have used this approach more than once. But while Givenchy and Area used cut and polished multi-colored minerals, the rebel French went her own way. Having bought kilograms of stones that are perfect in shape (these are the ones that are usually sold in jewelry stores), she gave them a "zest" with a hammer. She broke rocks into small petals of different lengths and thicknesses, and then laid out a circle of irregular shape. And only around one eye, to emphasize the asymmetry.

“I am left indifferent to things that look perfect for the sake of beauty alone. Just like the faces. No flaws, adjusted to the millimeter, but no emotion. Tired of looking at this sameness, I want people and accessories to touch the soul, to be alive, and not artificial, as in the picture, to show not only the shell, but also the personality,”she explained in social networks.

True, the girl looks exactly like this - like from the cover of a magazine. Plump lips, blonde hair, model figure. It seems that she leaves all her perfect imperfection to work.
