Editor Natalia Kapitsa shared her beauty hacks to save hands from dryness after an antiseptic.
This spring, my hands received a “surprise” they didn’t expect. After the heating season, from which the skin began to peel off strongly, they had another companion - both "friend" and "enemy" rolled into one: an antiseptic. They could not stand the double blow. Due to the violation of the integrity of the hydrolipid mantle, dryness was replaced by redness and cracks, aggravated by wearing gloves. It was necessary to do something urgently. A little imagination, a "pinch" of knowledge - and your hands are saved. I will tell you how I did it.
SPA gloves instead of medical
Many Korean brands have spa gloves with a nutritional composition inside. They are suggested to be worn as masks - from 20 minutes to an hour. I combine business with pleasure, putting them on in the store and killing two birds with one stone: saving myself the need to use an antiseptic and taking care of my hands. I love gloves with a mask that contains avocado oil, pantheon and glycerin. They do a great job with dryness.
Moisturizer and medical gloves
If you don't have spa gloves at home, you can make them yourself. Apply a thick layer of moisturizer to your hands and wear normal medical gloves on top. Done! By the way, a moisturizer can be replaced with Aevit (a cream that helps the skin to breathe) - sold in any pharmacy.

Panthenol and antispectic
There are many options for antiseptics on the market, which already include Panthenol. But now it’s just the situation when there’s not “poison” in the bowl, but medicine. D-panetenol not only moisturizes the skin, but also promotes the healing of microcracks, and also relieves redness. I buy an antiseptic in a tube without a dispenser, and then I add Panthenol there and shake well. Works great!
Olive oil and natural soap instead of regular
In addition to the antiseptic, alkaline soap can dry the skin of the hands. I replace it with natural and use olive oil. First I put it on my hands, carefully working out every centimeter. And then I soap the brushes and wash off the composition with warm (not hot) water.
Topicrem instead of regular
Topikrem is a product intended for the care of atopic skin. Its main tasks are to restore the water-lipid mantle, the level of hydration and increase the protective function of the skin. It absorbs very well and moisturizes for an immediate effect. I use it 3-4 times a day. And I recommend it to you!
