In the past couple of years, this kind of makeup is often found on the catwalks, it is used for photo shoots of advertising campaigns and with it the most fashionable bloggers and models of our time are published. The BeautyHack editorial team tells how unusual arrows became a trend and asks the makeup artist of the Keep Looking salon chain Alina Antonova which girls should draw them for New Year's parties, and which ones are better to abstain and why.

How it all began
After Twiggy, the eyelids were the first to showcase models at the Chanel show in 2017. Then Gigi and Bella Hadid, as well as other girls went to the catwalk in the images of our mothers and grandmothers: in tweed suits, with voluminous styling and with Twiggy's arrows. Then we saw similar eye makeup on several more shows and fashion shootings of glossy magazines.
This spring, a new boom began: the arrows became colored and neon! Moreover, make-up artists experimented with their different variations: they drew lines not only on the crease of the eyelid, but also on the inner eyelid, made dots in the corners of the eyes, added shadows.

Lately, arrows at the crease of the century have been seen more and more on Instagram, especially among the stars. “With a thin eyeliner brush, draw an arrow, then use a glitter primer and duplicate the arrow with sparkles,” shares Alina's party makeup life hack.
She also said that such eye makeup suits absolutely everyone, only girls with an overhanging eyelid should be more careful with him.
“If you have a drooping eyelid, then you should draw a line slightly above the natural crease so that you can see it,” advises the makeup artist.
