Dermato-cosmetologist Viktoria Britko told what peelings are acceptable in the summer, whether it is possible to inject botulinum toxin and whether mesotherapy is dangerous when the sun is active.

“In the summer, any procedures related to damage to the skin are locked up: resurfacing, middle peelings, and others. There is also a strict "taboo" on any other procedures that can provoke pigmentation - for example, phototherapy or deep cleansing. You also need to be careful with laser hair removal. It can only be done on devices that allow you to work on tanned skin. Otherwise, there is a great risk of getting burned."
Superficial peeling

According to the depth of impact, peelings are divided into superficial, middle and deep. They work on different levels, but with one goal - to stimulate skin renewal and to solve certain cosmetic problems.
Superficial peels act at the level of the upper layer of the skin - the epidermis. Most of them do not cause flaking, so they can be done in summer, provided that you use a cream with SPF. Feel free to sign up for almond, glycolic, milk or ferul peeling (read more about it here). Do a course of at least five procedures once a week.
Massage

In the summer, you can still go for a facial massage. It is absolutely safe at any time of the year. The procedure allows you to improve skin turgor, tighten the oval, get rid of fine wrinkles and solve other dermatological problems. Relaxing, lymphatic drainage, massage using gommage peels - choose any. And one more argument in favor of "for". In the summer, because of the active sun, many begin to squint - there is a risk of getting a couple of crow's feet. Massage helps prevent this problem by toning the facial muscles. You can practice at home using moisturizers and nourishing creams - you don't have to make an appointment with a specialist.
Ultrasonic face cleaning

Typically, this procedure is done using acids. In summer, it is better to refuse them, giving preference to antibacterial and antimicrobial agents - you can use chlorhexidine or septomyrin. The procedure allows you to normalize the activity of the sebaceous glands, visually narrow pores and cleanse the skin. After it, be sure to apply sunscreen before going outside.
Botulinum therapy

Botulinum toxin is used not only in the fight against mimic wrinkles. The procedure is also indicated for hyperhidrosis - excessive sweating. Botulinum toxin blocks the work of the sweat glands, providing a lasting result for up to 9 months. 3-7 days before the procedure, cosmetologists recommend that you stop using antiperspirants and epilation. After botulinum therapy, it is important to follow some recommendations: for two weeks, you need to refrain from visiting the sauna, solarium and exposure to direct sunlight.

Injection filler s

Filler is a mechanical filler that performs a number of tasks when injected into soft tissues at different depths. It helps to strengthen the skin, redistribute chiaroscuro, mask some imperfections and correct wrinkles, reducing visible manifestations.
Most often fillers are used to add volume to soft tissues, non-surgical rhinoplasty, and eliminate lip asymmetry.
The very next day after the procedure, you can safely use cosmetics and lead a normal life, regardless of the season.
Biorevitalization

Sign up for a biorevitalization procedure at the end of the summer. The procedure will replenish the moisture supply and prepare the skin for the changing seasons. This is a good way to prevent age-related changes. Biorevitalization combats dryness and dehydration of the skin, helps to get rid of the first wrinkles and normalize the sebaceous glands. During the procedure, a preparation based on hyaluronic acid is injected under the skin using the thinnest needle, the synthesis of which decreases after 30 years.
