The Facebook founder rarely appears in news chronicles, but tabloids and social networks could not ignore this occasion. Mark Zuckerberg was photographed while vacationing in Hawaii with his wife Priscilla Chan and two children. The 36-year-old billionaire has sunbathed on the beach and rode an electric surfboard in the ocean. Family idyll - what is it? It turned out that the whole thing is in the layer of sunscreen, with which the businessman clearly overdid it. In one of the frames, his face is whiter than snow - apparently, this is how he tried to protect light skin from ultraviolet rays. The pictures instantly went viral, spawning a ton of memes. "Yes, it's the Joker!" It's somehow not tolerant: to be even whiter than you are ",- Internet users joke.
Is the entrepreneur so wrong? Scientists and doctors say that we laugh in vain. Research from the American Academy of Dermatology has shown that most people use only 25-50% of the amount of sunscreen they actually need.

The amount of the product that needs to be applied depends on its density: the higher it is, the less you need. But, on average, it is believed that you need ¼-½ teaspoon for the face and ½ tablespoon for each part of the body. In this case, you can apply the cream in two layers: first one, let it soak in and after 20-30 minutes apply the second. All this must be done in advance, about half an hour before you are in the sun, so that the Sanskrins have time to form a protective film on the skin surface. It needs to be updated every 2 hours. Despite the degree of protection, we sweat, touch our face with our hands, swim, dry ourselves with a towel, and shake sand from our skin. In the city, it can be less common, especially if you use makeup with SPF. And remember: first you need to smear with sunscreen, let it soak, only then apply tone or powder.All this must be washed off especially thoroughly, preferably with the help of oily textures, for example, hydrophilic oil or cleansing balms.
How do you choose the perfect texture?
- For dry or combined, oily cream products are suitable, they soothe, moisturize, soften, eliminate flaking and dryness;
- For those prone to inflammation, comedones, excess sebum - sunscreen sprays or gel textures. They are easily distributed and do not overload with excessive density, some shrink pores and absorb excess sebum;
- For aging and mature - creamy sanblocks with snail mucin, which stimulates collagen production, regenerates the epidermis and smooths fine wrinkles;
It is possible that Zuckerberg used a favorite surfer's remedy - sunscreen paste, which is popularly called "zinc". It is she who gives the effect of 10 layers of Sanskrin. The fact is that the product contains zinc oxide, which is often used in dermatology and cosmetology, is part of toothpastes and medicines. It has anti-inflammatory, absorbent and antiseptic properties, and most importantly, it blocks ultraviolet light. In addition, it contains titanium oxide, which does not transmit UVA rays. They are considered more insidious, penetrating deep into the skin and injuring the inner layers of the dermis. Other ingredients include beeswax and vegetable oils. This all adds up to a dense, opaque white texture. True, sometimes dyes are added to the cream, then the paste can be anything: even brown - with cocoa powder, even orange - with turmeric.

For half an hour in the open sun at sea, you can easily get burns, let alone the time that a lesson or training lasts. Regular sunscreen, even water-resistant, won't last that much. We all the time fall into the water, remove the hair from the face, automatically touch our nose and eyes. We have to update the sunscreen all the time, which is not always convenient. And "zinc" is a dense paste that can withstand difficult conditions. Then you still need to try to wipe it off - it is better to do this with napkins or oil.
True, for vacationers who do not spend hours in the sun, dermatologists still recommend using conventional, lighter products so as not to overload the skin.
