What causes dryness and deterioration of the quality of the skin?
One of the reasons is a violation of the lipid layer in the epidermis, which enables the skin to perform a barrier function. Simply put, everything outside does not pass through the skin, and everything inside does not collapse. Very often this lipid barrier is disrupted.
The main and most global reason is improperly selected home care or its absence (as well as its lack of consistency).
Due to the violation of the barrier, the skin becomes sensitive and dehydrated, the processes of collagen synthesis are disrupted. Sharp climate changes, as, for example, in Russia, when all seasons are expressed, heating and an insufficient amount of hyaluronic acid affect the condition of the skin. And if the first problem can be solved with the help of home care, then hyaluronic acid can be restored with cosmetic procedures.
Hyaluronic acid is a component of the extracellular matrix; it is found in all tissues, from bone to skin. It is actively synthesized and just as actively destroyed. This balance begins to shift towards destruction with age, so the skin becomes dry and dehydrated.
What vitamins should you take in the winter?
In winter, it is advisable to take a whole supporting complex of vitamins, because hypovitaminosis occurs. Ideally, you need to screen vitamins and trace elements in order to understand the required dosage, and based on the results, more accurately select the dosage and focus on those vitamins that are really not enough. As a preventive measure, you can drink a complex of vitamins in January-February to maintain good health and skin condition. You should pay attention to vitamins such as D (it needs to be taken regularly, maintenance daily dose is 34,000). If the skin dries a lot, then get tested for vitamins E and A.
How should I change my body care?
It is necessary to give preference to shower gels of a creamy consistency with oils, replace hard sponges with softer and more pleasant ones, and after a shower use moisturizers so that there is no peeling of the skin.






What creams and oils are recommended to choose?
In winter, more nutritious care products are needed. On the face in cold weather, it is important to apply a nourishing cream in the morning, and a moisturizing cream at night, that is, we do the opposite (in the usual season in the morning - moisturizing, at night - nutrition). Give preference to masks and creams with vitamins E - a soft oily texture, but at the same time a good antioxidant for the skin, K is a fat-soluble vitamin, suitable if the skin is prone to sensitivity, chapped or peeling in certain areas, promotes regeneration, B5 also has a regenerating ability, well restores the epidermis, the upper layer of the skin.
From the cleansers, you should remove aggressive, acidic cleansers that wash until they squeak. Give preference to mild foams or products marked “For sensitive skin”, because extreme cold makes the skin more sensitive, vulnerable and susceptible to any aggressive influences.
