This weekend forecasters predict temperatures in Moscow above 27 degrees, and next week - above 30 degrees. In this heat, our sleep tends to suffer the most. But we, in the editorial office of BeautyHack, have read many articles and heard many lectures on how to get enough sleep in the summer in a metropolis. We share the most effective life hacks. We checked it on ourselves - they really work!
Get the room ready for bed during the day
The most important thing is to take care of the bedroom in advance. And to do this, during the day, keep the windows and curtains in the room closed so that warm air and sunlight do not pass into it. But in the evening, a few hours before bedtime, when the sun goes down and the temperature drops, feel free to ventilate the room.
Take a cool shower before bed
A cool shower will help cool the body and fall asleep faster. Relaxing scents in a soap or shower gel, such as lavender or herbal blends, will also work.

Opt for cotton pajamas
Sleep comfort also depends on what we sleep in. For summer, it is best to choose cotton, it has moisture-absorbing properties, but silk and chintz can stick to the skin, causing inconvenience.
Disconnect all electronic devices
Heat is emitted from a TV, laptop, smartphone, and even an ordinary bedside lamp plugged into an outlet. Turn off all devices before bed to keep the room cooler. And one more thing - at least an hour before bedtime, stop checking your email and social networks.
Create a Home Air Humidifier
The air conditioner dries the air greatly and causes discomfort. Better to use a regular fan, and if you don't have a humidifier, place a regular bowl of cold water or ice in the center of the room. Nice coolness guaranteed!
Go to bed at the same time
Usually in the summer our hours shift and we go to bed later. But try to live on a schedule and write down your bedtime preparations. Read our editor's experience of how she went to bed before 10 pm here.
