Why are you gaining weight from dining in the cafeteria, stressful meetings and business trips? Natalie Makienko, a member of the National Society of Nutritionists, founder of Natural Diet, reports.

You don't go beyond the printer
Eight hours at the computer and thirty urgent tasks - sometimes you catch yourself thinking that you have not got up from your chair after dinner? You may be doing well, but you completely forget about yourself. Physical activity is necessary not only for a pleasant figure on the scale, but also for health. Do a light warm-up at least once every two hours, talking on the phone while walking down the hallway - this is a mandatory minimum for the busiest.

You sit for a long time
Scientifically proven - a sedentary lifestyle disrupts blood circulation throughout the body. The result is a slowdown in metabolism, lethargy of the skin, a state of apathy and extra pounds. Get up from your chair, change your posture and position, walk some part of the way to work - this is useful not only for the body, but also for the soul: watch the streets in the morning, notice the details, smile at passers-by.
Coffee instead of water
Water is a must. If you haven't got enough sleep and are trying to overcome the lack of coffee, increase the amount of water. Remember: coffee will never replace water, it drains it. Don't like water? Add a couple of lemon slices to a glass - tasty and healthy (citric acid boosts metabolism).
Stress and lack of sleep
Your worries about trifles are deposited on the sides just like cakes. Take it easy and learn to control your emotions. It's just work! When the stress hormone rises in your body, each of its cells becomes bad - metabolism starts to slow down, metabolic processes slow down significantly.
Eating at the computer
Lunches at the office table should be banned! You send three messages at once, call the boss, manage to answer the assistant in sign language and finish the bar. Then another one. When work is in full swing, we are unaware and eat by inertia. There is only one way out - make it a rule to never bring food to your table. Give yourself a clear lunchtime - at least fifteen minutes.

Snacks
A colleague's birthday, vacation favors, advertisers' gifts, and nuts in meeting rooms all translate into daily calories that you don't even think about. You should have a clear mindset - no cookies from colleagues or other unhealthy snacks. Thank you politely for the offer and have an apple snack.
Food quality in the dining room
I don't believe in quality food in office canteens. Fatty, fried and stale are the standard features of public food places. Bring the right dinners from home, prepare them with love and imagination. If there is no time at all, choose the simplest dishes in a cafe: buckwheat and rice without oil, steamed vegetables and simple lean soups.
Uninteresting job
Yes, it can not only spoil your mood, but also your figure! Monotony of actions and constant boredom lead you to emotional nutrition. For example, all day you dream about how to come home and have your favorite high-calorie dinner. Understand the causes of boredom at work and think about ways to make a difference.
Hunger
In food and weight gain, not everything is so simple: when you do not go to lunch and do not have time to think about healthy snacks, you are starving and start a harmful process. The digestive system includes a stress regime - the body greedily stores everything that you eat later in the form of fat - in case you forget about yourself again.
Business trips
Weight gain begins with a plane - a cheese sandwich, iced cheese and coffee with fat “plane” cream. The result of the flight is disrupted biorhythms in the body, which slow down the metabolism. There is an exit. It is better to plan meals away from home in advance: grab natural yogurt and fruit on the plane, find a cafe with healthy meals near the meeting place, love your body and do not burden it with exotic dishes with a complex composition.
