“Stress in the frantic pace of modern life is inevitable! But you need to understand that this is not such a negative phenomenon, but a protective mechanism of our psyche. I believe that you do not need to fight with it - you need to learn to accept stress. I'll tell you how to do it."
Understand nature
Stress is the body's normal response to external stimuli. It is he who allows us to assess the degree of danger. But sometimes, due to life circumstances, a trifle serves as a starting factor for its occurrence. For example, lost keys. It doesn't have to be that way. This is the kind of stress you need to fight. There are many options for how to do this: yoga, meditation, auto-training and others - choose any!
Stock up on "quick help" practices
This is especially important for those who often find themselves in stressful situations at work or because of a certain lifestyle. My choice is breathing practices. They very much help to quickly bounce back and suppress an attack of irritability. I also like the quick meditation and tapping method - you can read about it on the net. By the way, numerous medical studies have proven the benefits of meditation. It allows you to better concentrate your attention, control your body and emotions. You can read about this on the page of the founder of the school of meditation in New York, Emily Fletcher.
Plan your morning
Any physical activity in the morning provides a boost of energy for the whole day and reduces stress levels. But, unfortunately, many simply do not have time for basic charging. Plan your morning and you will succeed! Think in advance what to wear, how to put on makeup, and what to take with you. And so that awakening does not turn into stress, get yourself a sleep-monitoring gadget - it will wake you up in a shallow sleep phase, and it will be easier to get up!
Performing your morning rituals without haste will create a good mood. My morning is stress-free: lying in bed with the kids, having a quiet breakfast and taking a shower.
Don't “judge” emotions
When we have painful emotions (including stress, anxiety, irritability) we don't need to judge them. They are neither good nor bad. Emotions signal things to us to pay attention to. Remember: even the most unpleasant feelings are our "friends". This is how they talk to us and allow us to better navigate the situation. Analyze the source of the emotion, and then decide what to do about it.
Ask for help
Successful people are not those who are able to do everything themselves, but those who understand that you can always rely on the environment. Don't try to handle everything on your own. Talk to family and friends - there is nothing to worry about.
If you remember our primitive ancestors, they never did anything alone - only collectively. Psychotherapist Esther Perel explains the nature of mutual assistance in this way. It is wrong to take on what a lot of people used to do. Remember and write it down!
