According to the plot, the daughter of the baron is obsessed with the idea of getting married before the age of 30. But there are not so many candidates in the castle, and, of course, guests are not invited there because of the deadly infection. The messenger William happens to be in the locked fortress. Behind the gates he has a bride, for whom he is terribly yearning. The guy does not give up trying to get out of there and reunite with his beloved. Unfortunately for him, the young baroness is imbued with sympathy for the charming stranger. William is faced with a difficult choice: either he will marry a capricious girl, or will be executed. And give a week to think. The possible father-in-law, the girl's father, languishes in his own house from boredom. So he waits with equal enthusiasm for any outcome of the unfolding drama.
