Metiers d'Art is a tribute to tradition and small workshops that create real masterpieces by hand. Knitted sweaters and leggings, unusual embroidery and stylish hats, sailor trousers, fine knitwear and bright accessories - all this is the new Chanel collection.
Karl Lagerfeld returned to Hamburg, the city in northern Germany where he was born, to show the off-season autumn collection. The designer himself admitted that the collection "Paris - Hamburg" cannot be called a return home: the city has always remained in his heart. The collection itself, befitting the port of Hamburg, was imbued with a nautical aesthetic - chunky knit sweaters and leggings, captain's caps and sailor trousers. The collection blends seamlessly with Chanel's aesthetics and does not clash with Gabrielle's legacy.
