On April 19, Moscow hosted a show of the autumn-winter collection of pret-a-porter 2016/2017 by designer Igor Chapurin, where the Clarins team headed by the international makeup artist of the brand Olga Komrakova worked. BeautyHack asked Olga to share her makeup details for the show of the collection under the intriguing name of Chicks & Crown.
“I've always loved combining high and street fashion in one look! For example, a simple top and a couture brooch. Combine styles creatively, and not take an image already thought out for you. In this collection Igor has perfectly combined two worlds - aesthetics of streets with the spirit of high fashion. That is why the choice of the place for the show fell on the Petrovsky Traveling Palace, which is distinguished by a very eclectic decor: it contains elements of Gothic, Baroque, and Old Russian style. And in the interior you can find an unexpected combination of a simple wooden floor and, for example, a chic ceiling of a round hall, where the show was made using the grisaille technique (one-color painting that imitates volume on a plane)."

“As for makeup, I wanted to create an aristocratic and unattainable image. There are two main accents: perfect porcelain skin and rich eye makeup that conveys a majestic look from above. The form of applying the eyeshadows is quite clear and harsh, no feathering! Here I started from the oval, which Igor loves so much: in his collections there are often voluminous coats in the shape of an egg, a sloping line of sleeves. I used a deep gray-purple matte shade (Ombre Matte, 08 Heather). He played in contrast with the main colors of the collection - burgundy, emerald green, electric blue, beige. And the golden eyeliner along the lower lash line (cream eyeshadow Ombre Waterproof, 02 Golden Sand) is the very element of haute couture in makeup."

“On the face, I applied a base that gives the skin a radiance (Eclat Minute), BB-fluid and moisturizing lipstick (Joli Rouge, shade Pink Praline), which went right over the cheekbones of models - this beauty hack gives the face a pearlescent glow. This same lipstick shade was used on the lips. I wanted the models' faces to remain as open as possible, so Aldo Coppola stylists created tall, stringy buns with a wet look to enhance and accentuate the moist glow of the skin."
