Special correspondent of BeautyHack Yulia Bakhvalova tested the coloring of shatush and Davines care in the Jay Studio salon and shared her impressions.
My main task at Jay Studio was to freshen up the color and remove the yellowness that appeared over time. Without radical changes, but with the same polish that appears after the long-awaited trip to the stylist.

Master Elya sat me down in a chair and assessed the condition of my hair. The verdict was this: thick, straight, but porous and dehydrated hair. Elya listened to my wishes and suggested coloring using the shatush technique - not radically different from my shade, but the strands will look different.
I have a lot of hair, so the procedure was long. We started painting at 10:30 and finished at 14:30.
Jay Studio exclusively uses Davines products, from paints to shampoos and styling products. This is great, because all treatments complement each other, and the dyes not only fulfill their main task, but also take care of the hair.
Elnura Moldalieva, colorist at Jay Studio:
“Yulia's main wish was to refresh the regrown strands and make them shine. Therefore, we wanted to update the hair shade after the previous visit to the colourist, getting rid of the red undertones, and add light strands. The shatush technique is best suited for this purpose! It allows you to generally refresh the image without radical changes - they did not want Julia. A big plus of dyeing shatush is that it looks great, no matter how you style your hair. After lightening, the hair is always slightly dried, so we made an additional Davines treatment, which consisted of three stages: I applied a nourishing shampoo, a color stabilizer and a mask that penetrates the hair texture, restoring it. I used thermal protection during installation."
The whole process of dyeing and maintenance could be divided into 8 stages. First, Elya lightened selected strands to the seventh level, explaining that this way we can add additional visual volume to the hair. We applied a mild lightening compound and kept it for 40-50 minutes to achieve the desired color and avoid excessive moisture loss and damage to the hair structure.

Then the master applied a nourishing shampoo for colored hair, rinsed it off, and then on wet hair - the final dye from the Davines Mask palette, with which I sat for about 30 minutes.
Ale washed off the dye again, applied Minu Post Color Treatment stabilizing fluid for 5 minutes and, without rinsing it off, Nounou nourishing mask for 15 minutes. I have fine hair that gets tangled easily, so they appreciate the careful step-by-step care.

After drying the hair, we started styling. Elya wrapped the curls on the iron, using a serum to create elastic curls, we achieved volume at the roots with the help of powder, and for a light, deliberately careless effect, the master applied a little spray with sea salt to the strands. I remember the very pleasant aroma of all Davines treatments - together with the volume, it stayed on the hair for exactly two days. I'm happy with the result! The color came out fresh, the yellowness was gone, the styling looked spectacular!
