Mom and the owner of the nutrition account, Yulia Boldysheva (@ sj771), told why she decided on reduction mammoplasty and how to lose weight correctly so as not to harm herself.
Why is drastic weight loss dangerous?
I have never been a full child. At 18, I weighed 48 kg with a height of 158 cm. But by the age of 30, my weight was already 103 kg. This is the result of food seizing stress. It seems like, you eat - and it becomes easier. A year before losing weight, there was a frozen pregnancy, and against the background of experiences she gained another 16 kg.
I started losing weight in 2013. I set one goal - to lose weight in order to get pregnant and have a baby. There was one more reason, less important, but it also became an incentive: then my husband and I went to rest in Abkhazia, returned home, I began to look at photographs and, of course, did not experience great joy.
On September 5, I passed tests, went to an endocrinologist, he diagnosed me with pre-diabetes mellitus and gave me a month to lose weight by 3-5 kg. The gynecologist said that my hormone prolactin was elevated and also advised me to lose 5 kg.
But after a month, I immediately lost 12 kg. The sugar level returned to normal, the endocrinologist removed the earlier diagnosis. I can't say that I was eating right. I eliminated everything from the diet (salt, sugar, olive oil), and once again a week I did fasting days - 2 kg "flew away". Now I do not advise anyone to repeat this, because in the following days the gore starts, you constantly think about food, but you cannot eat anything. All that was left was to eat cucumbers, cottage cheese, drink plenty of water and swim to be distracted. And as a bonus, hair falls out, problems with the kidneys and spine appear. Over time, everything recovered, but I realized that such an intense weight loss is very harmful. The ideal option is 2-3 kg per month.
A year later, on August 12, I took a test and found out about pregnancy. By this time she weighed 65 kg. For 9 months she gained only 10 kg, most of which remained in the hospital. During lactation, the weight increased to 74. And when my daughter was 5 months old, I began to lose weight again and did group Pilates every day. Plus walks with a stroller in the evening.
Now I am 34 and I weigh 62 kg.
How to do sports?
I am lucky, I do not have stretch marks and other changes that accompany dramatic weight loss. But this is the result of training: every day I swam for 40 minutes. When the weight reached 75, I went to the gym. Now I understand that I had to go right away, without looking back at anyone. And then she was terribly shy! I worked with a trainer: 3 times a week strength training and every day 40-minute cardio and sometimes a circuit training.
How to eat?
Having started to lose weight, I went to nutritional courses. This helped to understand the diet without strict prohibitions. In my case, the saying “eat breakfast yourself, share lunch with a friend, give dinner to the enemy” works 100%. The breakfast is the most satisfying (500-700 kcal), and there is always oatmeal in it. For lunch - pasta or legumes, for dinner - a small portion of chicken breast and green salad. There are snacks. The first is the most nutritious: toast with tuna or avocado. The second is kefir, yogurt or cheese cakes. Thanks to this scheme, I can afford sweets in the morning. At the same time, I continue to lose weight, albeit slowly. Now I can listen to the body, I know that there is no need to eat foods with a high glycemic index. For example, I cannot eat potatoes because I don’t gorge on them.
Breast reduction surgery
Last year on April 26, I underwent reduction mammoplasty to reduce my breasts by several sizes: from size 7 to size 3. I can't say that before I dreamed of surgery, but along with other changes I wanted to have beautiful breasts. She was always large, and after losing weight and lactation, of course, she lost her shape. By the way, if you recently fed your child, you will have to wait six months to have mammoplasty. I've been waiting for a year.
When I was preparing for the operation, I went to the doctors and heard completely different opinions. Once they said that because of the large size it was necessary to remove the mammary gland (after that I would not have been able to give birth to a child and feed him), but another doctor was found who did everything very delicately and without such consequences. Therefore, I advise you to choose a specialist very carefully. Before the operation, you need to pass tests, do fluorography, ECG, ultrasound diagnostics of vein thrombosis and go to a mammologist,

I spent a day in the hospital, then wore a bandage for a month. When I saw the result, I was shocked! It turned out very neatly.
But there was a complication (the doctors, of course, warn about them in advance): a hematoma appeared on the chest (maybe after any surgical intervention), two weeks later the doctor made an incision, and the bruise very quickly passed.
Interestingly, after the operation, nothing hurts. It seems like you just went to a very intense workout. Unlike mammoplasty, when the breast is enlarged. The point is in the implants, which in this case are not (they are placed under the muscle and hurt).
A general contraindication after surgery is that you cannot go in for sports and lift heavy things for three months.
