Karina Andreeva, Senior Editor at BeautyHack, talks about spa treatments that all workaholics need.

To test the legendary departure from the Italian brand [comfort zone], I went to the country hotel Les Art Resort, which is located 70 km from Moscow. A forest, an ecologically clean area of the western suburbs, a huge territory, which has two swimming pools (one of which is outside, heated), a spa center, a sports area, a gym and much more. The first thing I did was to go to the spa for a signature treatment for the face and body [comfort zone].

Tranquility Royal Ritual is a 2-hour facial and body treatment. It is recommended by:

  • to relieve stress and prevent insomnia;
  • for skin rejuvenation and combating photoaging;
  • to moisturize and nourish the skin;
  • to combat acne on the back.

Very often, it is this procedure that becomes the beginning of an anti-cellulite course, and it will also come in handy if you have just returned from the sea.

How is the two hour spa ritual going?

You lie down on a comfortable couch and close your eyes. The procedure consists of two stages, which intersect with each other: facial and body care. But if necessary, these procedures can be divided into two separate ones. I'll tell you about each one.

Facial treatment from [comfort zone]

The beautician rubs his palms with an aromatic mixture of "Tranquility" (containing essential oils of sweet orange, geranium, Damask rose, vetiver, cedar, sandalwood) and brings it to your nose. It is believed that the sense of smell can influence our mood and emotions and enhance the feeling of deep relaxation, which is why the entire ritual is based on aromatherapy.

The next step is to cleanse the face with micellar water and cleansing milk [comfort zone], and then wipe the skin with a soothing tonic. I underwent an enzyme peel based on betaine and bromelain - a creamy product with exfoliating particles is kept on the face for 5-7 minutes under a transparent film, and then removed. Favorite step - applying an antioxidant mask based on oils of goji berry, macadamia, hazelnut and hydrolyzed tomato extract. In 10-15 minutes, it hardens on the skin and is removed with a common film.

While you are holding the mask, you are given an insanely relaxing head massage - I even fell asleep, despite the fact that I could never switch off during such procedures.

The final steps are the application of Sublime Skin eye cream with a multi-active peptide complex and caffeine and the Hydramemory Cream Gel based on natural extracts of apple, lentil, watermelon peel, moringa oil and macrohyaluronic acid.

Why did I love this procedure?

First, for the wow effect. The face noticeably freshened up and shone (not with a greasy shine, but with a healthy glow, like from a good highlighter). Secondly, for the relaxing effect - you do not lie down and count the minutes when the mask will be removed: head massage helps to disconnect and even fall asleep! Thirdly, the effect of hydration and nutrition, which lasts at least a week. I have dry skin, but it softened in moments, and the peeling became less pronounced. The whole week after the procedure, the skin remained smooth - even the powdery products did not emphasize peeling, but were easily applied and distributed over the skin.

Body care from [comfort zone]

This treatment also begins with an aromatic journey. the masseur rubs his palms with an aromatic mixture "Calm" and brings them to the nose. Then a volcanic scrub based on rhyolite powder is applied to the body - each zone is worked out with massage movements. Then you rinse it off in the shower and return to the couch. During the massage, a body oil based on grapes, vanilla, rose and vitamin E is applied to you and wrapped in foil for 15-20 minutes. Then you go to the shower again, wash, think that the procedure has come to an end, but no! There is yet another stage of massage and application of a soothing body cream based on essential oils.

Why did I like this procedure?

First, I fell in love with the soothing, unobtrusive citrus scent of the products: aromatherapy really helps to relax. Secondly, the effect of soft, smooth, like a child's skin after - even after a week, you still feel that the skin is smoothed and became more hydrated. Thirdly, an incredibly pleasant head massage. Very often, during the wrapping, you are wrapped in plastic and left alone - unfortunately, this rarely relaxes me, more often I lie and wait until I can get up from the couch and go to the shower. But then I closed my eyes and fell asleep while I was getting a head massage. This procedure is definitely needed by workaholics - the back, which gets tired from a sedentary lifestyle, becomes much easier after the Tranquility spa treatment from [comfort zone].
