BeautyHack columnist Veronica Shur, after an intense workout, went for a lymphatic drainage massage at the White Garden Beauty and Health Center, where Thai Tuk helped her quickly recover.

It so happened that on the eve of my visit to the "White Garden" I went too far with fitness. After a long break, I decided to arrange a good run for myself, and then actively swam for another two hours. No wonder that the next day I found myself almost without arms and legs. My muscles ached so much that I didn't want to get out of bed. “Try to go to Tuk, she will quickly put you on your feet,” my colleague advised, and this was the best time to test the massage.

Tuk has been practicing massage for over 12 years. She started at home in Thailand, then went to work in South Korea, and then to Malaysia and India. Travels dragged on for several years, and in each country Tuk improved her skills, mastering new types of technology.

“In Thailand, clients most often come to relax, in South Korea, Chinese acupressure and reflexotherapy are highly valued, and in Malaysia, they are good at doing lymphatic drainage,” says Tuk in English. "Which country will you go to after Russia?" I ask. But Tuck laughs back and says that she really likes it here and that she is not going anywhere yet. She has been working at the White Garden Health and Beauty Center for two years. She has only a few procedures in the service menu - general massage, modeling, trigger point massage, relaxing stone therapy and classical Thai stretching, which is performed on mats in a specially equipped office.

I signed up for her "General Body Massage" - and it was 2 hours of pure pleasure and bliss. There are masseurs who work without sparing the client, work the vertebrae to a crunch and break muscle blocks to pain. With Tuk everything is completely different: during this massage you can really relax and even doze off. She has very strong hands, but the movements are soft, smooth, sliding.

She cleverly combines different techniques, somewhere she adds more stretching, and somewhere she focuses on relaxation. If she sees that there is excess fat in some areas (for example, on the sides and hips), then she connects elements from the modeling slim massage. The feet are massaged on active energy points, and with the back it works not only with oil, but also “dry” through a hot towel - this way you can achieve more effective and deep stretching. But the main emphasis in the "general massage" she makes on the lymphatic drainage technique, which perfectly disperses the lymph, improves blood circulation, speeds up metabolism and removes the swelling of the legs.

"General massage" is work on the entire body, including arms, legs, back, sides and abdomen, neck and even head. Tuk pays equal attention to all parts, but to be honest, she is the most ingenious at her foot and hand massage. The biceps, triceps, calf muscles, the inner thighs, which are problematic for all girls, are worked out so carefully that the effect is noticeable immediately. It is felt that the master not only masters the massage technique, but also feels the body well and understands its biomechanics.

There was no trace of my pulling pain in the muscles and the feeling of fatigue in my legs, but the same lightness appeared in my body. And this is in one session! In general, if you are looking for a good masseur and do not like painful sensations during a massage, I sincerely advise you to Tuk from the "White Garden".
