Lipstick Le Rouge Crayon de Couleur, 5 rouge, Chanel
The case when at one glance at lipstick there is already a release of endorphins. Immediately imagine how you put this handy pencil in a clutch and be carried away "into the night" (or maybe "in the day": there are 6 shades on the chanel.ru website - from nude to fuchsia). The brand promises a satin finish, comfort in wear and a durability rare for a shiny lipstick - at least four hours (the formula contains special film-forming pigments).
But in fact, everything is even better than the press release says. I applied Le Rouge Crayon De Couleur two hours before going to the theater - and during the intermission I still had a flawless red lip! (and they gave, for a second, "Uncle's Dream" at the Mayakovsky Theater, each act for an hour and a half). Completely lipstick came off in about seven hours and did it like a lady - without streaks and the effect of "kiss of Dracula". In fact, it just soaked into the lips - so they looked a little brighter than usual.
Special thanks to Chanel for the satin finish. Now everyone is obsessed with matte lipsticks (by the way, Chanel has bombastic matte "ink" for lips in the Chanel Ink line), but, you must admit, it's boring to wear the same textures every day. It's like having only one 2.55 handbag - you need both white and blue, and you can't live without a red one. I myself adore matte formulas, but when I want more “life” on my lips, I choose gloss or satin. Le Rouge Crayon De Couleur has an optimal density - not too greasy and not quite airy. You feel him on your lips for the first few seconds - and then you live with him as with your beloved husband, not counting the hours spent together. Well, and for the shape of a pencil, Chanel marketers need to write out a separate premium. I used to paint Le Rouge Crayon De Couleur in a taxi and in an elevator, and in general, groping in the dark - and not even once did I draw a red mustache for myself, but did not even go beyond the contour. For the summer I will buy a shade of "fuchsia" - and I will paint in a sun lounger on the seashore.
Cleansing mask Instant Detox Mask, Caudalie
This detox mask is not new, but I've heard so many beauty enthusiasm about it that I have long wanted to try it. And having tried it, I could not help but include it in this hit list. Remember there was such a Soviet cartoon about a magic shop? There they sold miraculous fairy tales, which turned into little people, ran on a sheet of paper and painted masterpieces. Here, in the Caudalie tube, little people also live, or rather, beauticians who pop out of the tube and in five minutes photoshopped your face, like a Claredon filter - a continuous glow and not a single visible pore.
The mask hardens in two minutes, noticeably tightens, but it cleans up properly - the feeling of detox is one hundred percent. An ideal option for those who love fast-acting remedies and during the mask ritual is active, and does not lie like a mummy (although I am always for “lying down” - the extra five minutes of relaxation have not prevented anyone:) The “grasping” of the mask is instantaneous - it does not flows, does not creep and generally behaves perfectly. It rinses off relatively quickly - five cotton pads moistened with warm water were enough for me (which is not a lot for a clay formula).
The first thing you pay attention to after washing your face is a childish, pale pink complexion. I usually have this after steaming in a bathhouse or a serious march in the forest. Second, the pores are less visible. The skin as a whole is smoother, breathes, and in general, with all its appearance, it demonstrates “I am fresh and young!”. Herbal scent and thick texture are a must for home spa fans. And the formula with natural ingredients is for those who are afraid of parabens (by the way, in vain, but this is a separate topic). In general, the mask is ideal for oily and oily skin (although it worked perfectly on my normal skin). But dry and sensitive may not be suitable - too powerful effect.
Lipstick Always On Liquid Lipstick, Driver's Seat, Smashbox
If you're still looking for the perfect selfie lipstick, this is it. Perfect contour (no pencil!), Dense coverage and uncommon color - what else do you need for likes? If you remember the history of the brand, such photogenicity is not a surprise. More than twenty years ago, the brand was launched by Dean and Davis Factor, great-grandchildren of Max Factor, "the father of modern cosmetics" (and, by the way, a native of Russia, his real name is "Faktorovich"). The brothers had a photo studio, which also included makeup. The photographers wanted him to be durable and the models to be comfortable. The guys took this formula - durability plus comfort - as a basis when creating Smashbox.
My lipstick lasted three hours like new, and four more (which included lunch and two teas) - without annoying streaks or clots at the corners of the mouth. I also rate the comfort at the top five - I did not feel either tightness or dryness typical for matte lipsticks. And the coolest thing is that after application it immediately freezes - and does not imprint on the cheeks of my babies when I kiss them before leaving for work.
Moisturizing serum Bi-Serum Intensif, "Anti-Soif", Hydra Essentiel, Clarins
When today is minus twenty, and tomorrow it is zero, it is bad not only for the head, but also for the skin - it reacts to temperature changes with dullness and dehydration. The Hydra Essentiel line is the Clarins brand's answer to weather, nature and everything else that puts the skin in thermal shock.
All products work to moisturize, and the main ingredient is Kalanchoe extract (the leaves of this plant retain moisture even in extreme heat). It stimulates the synthesis of its own molecules of hyaluronic acid, so that all layers of the skin are hydrated, not just the superficial one.
To be honest, I'm a bad serum student. I know that they increase the effectiveness of the cream, but I am always in a hurry and skip this step in leaving. I thought that with this serum I would hold out for a maximum of two days. But there were several surprises in store for me. Firstly, it does not "sink" into the skin, like most similar products (I do not like it when leaving the feeling that you have not applied anything at all). In a jar, the consistency is two-phase, and in the palm of your hand (after you shake the vial) - something between water and oil.
Secondly, the formula works not only "for the future", but also for an instant effect. The first time I tested the serum after the pool, from where I crawl out with the muzzle of a turtle - dry and tight, as if I was a hundred years old (although all cosmetologists believe that my skin is normal, only slightly prone to dryness). A generous portion of Hydra Essentiel immediately relieved itching, nourished the skin and felt on it for another twenty minutes - so you didn't even need to apply the cream! Some people may not like the slight oiliness, but for me the effect of a wrapped face, especially in winter, is a class.
The second test drive happened in a terrible morning rush - and again the result was such that I even gave up the usual cream (but at the same time I applied foundation on the serum without any problems). And although I was a lot in the cold that day, I never had a feeling of discomfort. A week later, I got hooked on the ritual itself: shake up the bottle, squeeze out blue water, dive into it with my face and enjoy the freshness! By the way, the Clarins website has a cool video on how to apply the serum correctly. Even I, an experienced beautygolic, caught myself making a mistake (and I won't tell you which one - watch the video and guess yourself:).
In general, if you, like me, periodically suffer from dry skin and are always in a hurry, and also love products with a "cozy" effect, you will be happy. And if you're not sure, stop by the Rive Gauche at Evropeyskiy and try the Clarins moisturizing procedure in the brand new spa brand, which has just opened there. The space is not at all big, but the rituals, service, atmosphere - everything promises, as in the famous Parisian spa brands!
Moisturizing toner Eau Ginseng, Erborian
A beauty bomb for girls with dry and dry skin - seemingly water, but in fact a moisturizing elixir. The can says that the product can be used not only as a tonic, but also as a mask - soak cotton pads properly and put them on your face. I did not try the second method, I just rubbed my face with a disc after washing - and the cheeks became like rose petals (this, you know, the effect of velvety smoothness).
At the same time, after five minutes, the petals did not wilted and the freshness did not go anywhere - in summer, theoretically, after such a portion of moisturizing, one could even walk the cream. Still, Koreans are pioneers in moisturizing, their annual consumption of hyaluronic acid is probably the same as that of the three European powers combined. Erborian, by the way, is only half Korean (and half French). But the formulas are developed in Korean laboratories (undergoing a series of scientific tests), and all the plants whose extracts are used in products are also grown in Korea. In this tonic, Korean ginseng is a soloist, which contains a lot of vitamin B, minerals and ginsenosides that increase the body's resistance. The cumulative effect of the care, of course, should be checked with prolonged testing, but the hydration and radiance after the tonic is instant.
