This fall, my skin literally demanded to supplement my evening care, consisting of a cleansing tonic and a night cream, with a moisturizer - this is how facial oils appeared in my arsenal. Over time, they became part of the morning beauty ritual.

The decision to try new products was strengthened after the appearance of peeling on the skin (sure signs of a change of season in my case). The cause of the problem was the weakening of the protective functions of the epithelium and the frequent use of an alcohol-containing tonic. The solution was to use oils rich in fats and acting on the hydrolipidic mantle of the skin.

The big plus of the oils is that they are suitable for all skin types. Even repeatedly overdried oily dermis will be grateful to the oils for saturating it with useful active ingredients.

Do not be afraid of face oils and those who suffer from acne and rashes. The main thing is to pay attention to the composition of the funds: vitamin C reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation, sea buckthorn has anti-inflammatory properties, and jojoba oil is considered an excellent antiseptic. The oils are also great at fighting the signs of fatigue and giving the skin a healthy look.

I liked the concentrate for its texture. Having no experience with such products, I was looking for an oil that would easily apply to the skin and be instantly absorbed. To be honest, I had no idea how you can apply decorative cosmetics on top of fatty oil and still feel comfortable. With Kiehl's, such problems did not arise: a few drops of oil, a day cream on top and the skin will look rested. By the way, in the morning, oils should be applied an hour before going outside so that all the components have time to be absorbed.

I also liked the discreet citrus scent that evokes associations with the New Year! The product is great for winter care when the skin needs additional nutrition.

After reading many conflicting reviews, I decided to try this famous remedy from Clarins. The manufacturer recommends using it for dehydrated skin. In my case, a sure sign of a lack of moisture was the peeling that appeared on the skin with the advent of cold weather.

I advise you to use this oil exclusively as an evening care, as it can seem heavy in the morning. Especially if you overdo it with the amount: 2-3 drops is more than enough.

Orchidée Bleue is not really for everyone, but if your goal is to find an SOS product to protect against dry air and sudden changes in temperature, then choose this product. By the way, the brand's arsenal includes other oils designed specifically for oily and sensitive skin.

As a fan of Davines hair products, I decided not to miss the opportunity to try this all-purpose nourishing oil for face, hair and body. Pros: long-term moisturizing effect and pleasant, persistent scent. And from the minuses - a slight feeling of heaviness on the face. It is not possible to apply decorative cosmetics on top as well.

Authentic Nourishing Oil has become for me a weekend treatment in cold weather, when you can limit yourself to applying only cosmetic products.

The main advantage of the product is that it is quickly absorbed and does not leave a greasy sheen.

Oil for face Polyphenol C15 Overnight Detox Oil, Caudalie

For those who plan to use this tool, I advise you to pay attention to its composition. In addition to the harmless oils of grape seed, sweet almond, rose, carrot and sunflower, there are also aromatic oils (orange, sandalwood, lavender and rosemary) among the ingredients that can cause allergies. In my case, the product worked perfectly: the dryness was eliminated, the skin became softer. But for owners of sensitive skin, I advise you to carefully test the oil before active use.
