Since The POREfessional is a makeup primer (base), you shouldn't expect a wide palette of emulsifiers, emollients and a cascade of active ingredients from it. The composition of the product is a mixture of silicones that provide a good, gliding distribution of the base on the skin, make it velvety, give a feeling of lightness, and also guarantee the durability of subsequent make-up. From a functional point of view, this is a plus. However, if such a cascade of silicones had a skin care cream, it would be rather a disadvantage.
Since The POREfessional's formula does not contain oils (oil-free), it can be safely recommended to owners of oily skin.
The POREfessional contains a component that solves the tasks set by the manufacturer for the primer - special microspheres that make the skin seem silky. In addition, they have light scattering ability. It is thanks to this that the pores and fine wrinkles are masked, and the skin becomes visually uniform. However, as soon as you wash off the product, the pores and wrinkles will return: from the point of view of biology, these components do not fight these problems at the cellular level. There are active ingredients that do tighten pores and smooth the surface of the skin, but they cannot boast of a quick effect - they take time to start working. The instant effect is achieved with just such reflective particles.
A plus is the presence of vitamin E in the Benefit primer, which provides minimal skin care. There are no moisturizing components among the ingredients, however, the specificity of the primer does not provide for their presence.
