- Soda-salt baths have been recommended to me by my coach for a long time. These baths help relax the muscles and relieve muscle soreness the day after exercise. For a soda-salt bath, you will need half a package of baking soda and 1 kg of salt (I use regular sea salt, I buy from Ozon). The ingredients are added to hot water, which must be immersed in very slowly - I usually first lower my legs, then slowly sink completely. You need to take a bath before bedtime and no more than 10 minutes, this time is quite enough, further stress can be for the body. While taking a bath, you can drink warm water or even better herbal tea. And then you should dress warmly and immediately go to bed to feel the maximum relaxation.

You can take baths three to four times a week. But they, of course, have contraindications - pregnancy, lactation. Also, in case of chronic diseases, it is worth consulting a doctor. And also trust your feelings: for example, if you can't stand it for 10 minutes, then get out of the bath at the first discomfort. For beginners, you can start with 5 minutes.
