The creator of the popular youtube channel and nail blogger Masha Create told which pharmacy products will save thin nails, and explained how to use a massage candle and do lamination.
Daily care
Use cuticle oil daily and stock up on several bottles for your home, car, and office. I like Dadi oil. It is quickly absorbed and moisturizes well. A convenient "travel" option - oil enclosed in a pencil. If the cuticle is dry, apply the oil several times a day. The same must be done if you washed your hands with hard water or alkaline soap. By the way, due to temperature changes, I advise you to wash your hands with lukewarm water, because cold makes the skin rough, and hot dries out a lot.

In the fall and winter, reduce the use of moisturizer by only applying it to your hands at home if you are sure you will not go outside soon. Focus on skin nutrition. Use a nourishing cream before leaving the house, but wait until it is completely absorbed. And at night, you can apply a denser oily product. Ideally, a solid butter butter. I use Beyond Butterful Body Balm. While I apply it on the body, the product is absorbed into the skin of the hands.

Another useful procedure is paraffin therapy, during which molten paraffin, essential oils, salts, etc. are used. Important: for this procedure, you need to use a cosmetic composition, not candles. At home, you can use an electric bath to melt paraffin wax.
Pharmacy products
If your nails are thin and flakey, paint them with iodine. I don’t really believe in home remedies, but this procedure helped me, so I would gladly recommend it. The result will be the same as after IBX.
Do five procedures, repeating them every other day. The first time iodine is absorbed very quickly, then more slowly. During the last treatment, apply the product at night. Don't worry, the iodine color disappears from the nail in a few minutes.
Another excellent pharmacy agent is chlorhexidine. It helps out during cuts, stops blood and relieves pain.
Use nail clippers gently
In the cold season, manicure should be done as delicately as possible, because the cuticle and skin around the nail plate is exposed to external influences and coarsens.
Do not use tweezers to cut the skin around the nail, or it will grow faster. Use a dry file to soften it.
By the way, also treat the nail plate with a dry file if you don't want the nail to exfoliate.
Hand massage with massage candle

The massage candle looks very simple and is enclosed in an ordinary ceramic bowl. It is made from natural beeswax with the addition of oils, which melt during the burning process. The melted butter is not hot, the melting temperature of such a candle is only 45 ° C, which is very comfortable for the skin. This massage is done for 10 minutes at the end of the manicure. This is a great aromatherapy: you will not only tidy up your skin, but also have a home spa ritual.
My advice: when choosing a massage candle, don't be fooled by the smells of raspberry jam, strawberry and cream, chocolate brownie, etc. These candles have artificial flavors. There is little sense from them.
Start with a scrub. Then use a towel to remove any remaining abrasive particles. It is important that the skin on your hands is clean and dry, otherwise the oil will roll off. Light the wick and wait a couple of minutes for the butter to melt. You only need two drops for one procedure, so the candle will last for a long time. She can also massage the whole body. Put out the candle before pouring the oil onto your hand. Spread it over your palms and start massage. Rub the entire glove area well until your hands are hot, remember your fingers and make movements that simulate putting on gloves. A couple of times clench your fingers tightly into a fist and open them sharply with a fan.
For a long-term effect, I also recommend mesotherapy and plasmolifting of the skin of the hands.
Nail lamination

I recommend this procedure to everyone. I met her a year and a half ago and a little later, together with the Fox brand, we created the ideal lamination product - Cover. It is a protective coating for damaged and undamaged nails. It is thin and insoluble, that is, it does not rub off the nails at all. In extreme cases, it can be cut down, if necessary.
Unlike most insoluble materials, Cover is very flexible, but at the same time the nail strengthens with it and practically does not bend. This coating has several advantages: gel polish lasts longer, its removal is carried out very delicately (the nail is protected from any possible damage). The procedure can be done at home, especially since one bottle will be enough for you for a long time. The product is applied in two layers and dried in a Led or infrared lamp.
