The black

In my opinion, this is the most versatile shade. Previously, he seemed to many to be wild, because he was associated only with the gothic subculture or emo. But then I completely occupied the niche of red, which, for example, I don't like. It seems to me too bright, and black is more versatile, it looks contrasting, but at the same time restrained.

My favorite shade of black is Liquid Leather from the American brand China Glaze. By the way, black and colors as close as possible to it (wine, burgundy, dark blue, dark purple) are especially good for autumn and winter.

White

I like the thick white varnish. Moreover, I buy my favorite shades as before Judgment Day. During one of my trips I tried American Apparel's T-Shirt polish and fell in love! I bought seven bottles at once, which greatly amused the border control workers at the airport. I also love the white polish at Urban Outfitters. Unlike American Apparel, it can be found not only in the United States but also in Europe. Here I use a French manicure varnish, it lays down in a very dense layer.

Grey

I'm probably a super boring person, but I would put gray varnish in third place. It is more neutral than white and black, less flashy and will suit any dress code. It is quite difficult to catch the big difference between nude and light gray varnish. If you don't know which shade to apply, start with a universal light gray - it will suit absolutely everyone.

All shades of beige

I love both translucent and dense nude. Determining which shade is right for you is easy: choose a varnish based on your skin color. Pinkish nude is suitable for a cold undertone, yellowish for a warm undertone. So, you definitely will not go wrong with the color in the winter and will not go out into the cold with pink-bluish hands and yellowish-beige varnish on your nails. It looks strange.

If you are not sure about your skill in applying varnish, choose the most dense coating. The more transparent the varnish, the more difficult it is to apply it evenly on the nail. You can determine the density of the coating in the store: run a brush along the neck of the tester bottle or apply varnish to a plastic nail. If you buy varnishes over the Internet, then watch Swatch. Bloggers love them very much and often do them themselves. At the same time, you will find comments on the application of a specific coating.

Neon shades

If you, like me, love clothes in neutral shades (black, white, gray, beige), then feel free to choose neon varnishes. Black and neon yellow go great! If you, for example, are completely dressed in a neutral color -

black, white, gray - then even such a bright accent as neon will look unusual and appropriate.

I love the neon shades of the China Glaze brand (like the yellow Yellow Polka Dot Bikini). This democratic brand can also be found in Russia.

An important point: most neon varnishes lay down translucent and leave a matte finish. This is a feature of the pigment. If you want a dense finish, apply a coat of white polish first. It will work like white paper being traced with a neon marker. And don't forget to layer the top for a perfect glossy finish.
