1. For the lipstick to fit perfectly on the lips and make you feel comfortable with it, it is important to moisturize the skin of the lips. I recommend applying a moisturizing balm every day at night. Precisely for the night, because during the day we still eat it - it doesn't work that way.
2. Like the skin of the face, the skin of the lips needs not only moisturizing, but also scrubbing. Many brands now make special lip scrubs, but a good scrub can be made at home as well. For example, mix honey with sugar or coffee grounds with sour cream or cream.
3. If you want maximum comfort on your lips, choose classic moisturizing lipsticks or gloss. I also recommend combining a pencil with a balm - you will get hydration, and a pigmented color, and an even contour. The pencil can be shaded over all lips.
4. Nowadays matte lipsticks are in trend - they are durable and for a long time. How to prevent matte textures from drying your lips? I advise you to apply a balm under the lipstick and blot the excess with a dry napkin.
5. Always carry two lipsticks with you - nude and bright. Lipstick creates a mood, and you can choose it yourself. For daytime makeup, I carry in my bag a matte liquid lipstick in a shade of pink and beige 201 Infaillable Lip Paint, L'Oréal Paris. And my favorite scarlet tone for the evening is 346 Color Riche Matte, L'Oréal Paris. Lays down very thin and does not dry lips at all.
