How to apply conditioner correctly, when a mask can harm, and which comb to buy? Top stylist Vyacheslav Gordeev answers questions about colored hair.

Air conditioning
The first mistake of Russian girls in caring for dyed hair is improper use of conditioner. If you think that colored strands need to be moisturized and nourished from the very roots, you are mistaken. When you apply conditioner to your scalp, the oil balance increases and your hair starts to stain quickly.
Remember: conditioners and masks are made for hair length! At work, I apply moisturizers with my hand to the client's head so that the conditioner does not exactly come into contact with the skin.
Care
It is a gross mistake to use nutrients immediately after staining. So you prevent the pigment from fixing on the hair and shorten the "shelf life" of the color. 2-3 washes after staining, use only shampoo and conditioning conditioner. Put aside the masks for a while: their components "open" the hair cuticle, penetrate and wash out the pigment.
Thermal protection
All dyed hair is drier than unpainted hair - its structure changes regardless of whether you lighten it or not. In order not to provoke great dryness, apply heat protection products to the length before blow-drying. Hair is like the fabric of jeans: when you wear one pair for several years, it rubs - and so does the ends of the hair. They are gradually thinning from styling, sun and chemicals.
Combs
Let's start by preparing for brushing. Any hair after washing should be gently blotted, not rubbed! The purpose of the towel is to remove excess water droplets. Then apply a moisturizing serum. Moving on to the comb itself: go to a professional store and look for plastic combs with wide teeth. They damage the texture to a minimum. Why should you give up wooden combs? Any tree has "burrs" that catch the hair cuticle.
