In how many minutes he cuts, what means he uses and how he communicates with clients - top stylist Vyacheslav Gordeev told BeautyHack about the signs of a pro.

Vyacheslav Gordeev
Top stylist of the Nikolskaya Club salon
Since 1997, he has been working in the Persona project, a participant in filming for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Playboy, L'officiel, Elle. In 1998 he received his Vidal sassoon diploma in London.

Dry shampoo
Shampoo should remain shampoo - hair wash in the shower! Dry products were created for hopeless situations - when you have exactly five minutes and an important reason to look perfect. Treat spray shampoos as "disguises" on your head. There is no dry shampoo in my salon case - it is unprofessional and unnatural.

Speed
A professional cannot cut a client for an hour and a half. It takes me 40 to 50 minutes to get a haircut - along with shampooing and final styling. I do not advise you to trust the wizards who complete the work in 20 minutes. The stylist should treat your hair carefully and not rush.
Facilities
A real pro does not need hundreds of styling products and dozens of gadgets. To create the perfect styling, you only need skillful hands and an ordinary hair dryer. Real skill, in my understanding, is great results with a minimum of funds. You still need to know about all the new products - in order to broaden your horizons, stay modern and master fashionable techniques.

Personal qualities
A professional is always punctual - I do not allow myself to be late and respect every minute of my client. This is the law!
I always communicate with the guests of the Nikolskaya Club with interest, as well as with my colleagues in the shop. My professional rule is not to transfer communication with visitors outside the salon.

Simple styling
I specially mastered the technique of the great Vidal Sassoon in London. This master gave the famous five-pointed haircut to Andy Warhol's girlfriend Edie Sedgwick and introduced the fashion to the square. Vidal's haircut slogan: "Mine and go!" A professional must work so that a girl can wake up on a summer day, smile, wash her hair and go to work. A high-quality hairstyle will dry properly without any tools at hand.
