Give preference to liquid highlighters
I have my favorite dry highlighters, but for the effect of wet skin I prefer liquid ones. I talked about Lancome Shine Serum here. An alternative is the highlighters from Becca. I love the creamy Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured with its finest shine. As part of vitamins A, B, D and E - they help the skin to retain moisture.
Moisturizing the skin before strobing
Moisturize your skin with either Charlotte's Magic Cream from Charlotte Tilbury or the popular Embryolisse before applying the highlighter. Oils are also good. Recently, the Russian cosmetics brand Pro Make Up Lab released a base oil for makeup. Easy to apply with a pipette, removes peeling. Use before foundation, avoiding the T-zone.
Strobe and foundation
After the oil, apply foundation - concentrate it in the T-zone and stretch along the edges. Distribute strobe tools along the contour - on the protruding parts of the face. Blend with your foundation.
How to get more radiance
The camera eats up the makeup. If the skin is not shiny enough, apply on top of the liquid highlighter with a dry fluffy brush - the Charlotte Tilbury Film Star palette will come in handy (I talked about it here). Sometimes I use a body cleaner when I need to create highlights. Then you can add some oil to the skin.
Favorite strobing highlighters
