My philosophy is Natural Beauty. My motto is never to impose any specific means on people, categorically claiming that this is a must-have and that's it! We are all different, we all have different skin, therefore the reactions are individual. On the subject of foundations, I'll share a few of my favorite products, and I hope you find it helpful.
Cushion Le Cushion Encre De Peau Fusion Ink, YSL
I have been testing this YSL cushion since February, after the official presentation in Paris. Among European cushions, this is my favorite. It consists of 30% mineral water, which makes the texture light. The cushion leaves a beautiful satin finish. At a time when everyone is already talking about glossy skin to antipathy.
Tip: use the cushion only with the puff that comes with the kit, because applying the product with a brush or sponge will not create the right result!
Foundation fluid The Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation SPF20, La Mer
Another discovery of 2016 is a long-lasting tonal fluid. You can apply it with a brush or a Beautyblender sponge - the finish is thin, very natural, ideal for a natural and long-lasting make-up. In addition, the product cares for the skin - after a few weeks of constant use, you will see it yourself.
Concealer Luminous Silk Foundation, Giorgio Armani
One of my main favorites, who "settled" in the work case for a long time. It is very easy to achieve the effect of radiant skin with this cream - it contains reflective particles, so after application the face looks fresh and rested. I also like the silky texture, easy to blend, easy to layer when needed. It is a pleasure to work with such a product.
BB-cream Gold Label, Dr. Jart
All my clients, when they first try this BB cream, say that their life is divided into before and after! The product is truly ingenious - flawless coverage, easy application, complete fusion with the skin.
Foundation Studio Sculpt Foundation, MAC
Foundation mousse for creating porcelain skin. My signature trick of preparing actresses for red carpets. I love this remedy. One of the main advantages is its cost effectiveness. Due to the fact that the cream has a rather thick and unique texture (cream-gel), very little amount is needed to make the complexion even and hide minor imperfections.
Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation, Make Up For Ever
The creamy texture of this stick provides excellent coverage with a satin sheen of beautiful skin. Convenient to carry, can be layered, good pigmentation and hiding power.
Stick-cushion Double Wear Nude, Estee Lauder
This stick cushion differs from the classic cushion in both design and texture. The fact is that European women are more accustomed to the effect of matte skin, they do not always understand the satin sheen and shine of Korean cushions. This is why many companies are adapting their products, and Estee Lauder's cushion is the case. Slim, leveling and comfortable.
Tips for applying foundation:
I tend to follow the path of individual use and always say: no matter how and with what you apply the foundation, the main thing is the result. If you are good at applying tone with your fingertips and the result is just "Wow!"
As for me, I mostly use the Beautyblender sponge or goat hair brushes because I work with people and not everyone likes to touch their skin with their hands.
To be honest, Beautyblender sponges are my love. I was the first Russian make-up artist who brought them to Russia. Then many looked at me with suspicion and said: “What? Pink sponge? It costs so much money, it's terrible! Why can't you use regular latex-free sponges like all normal makeup artists? (Laughs) I first bought it in Berlin in 2005, and then it was a revolution in the makeup industry abroad. And to this day I am a huge fan of the beauty blender, I have all the variations, and I believe that this is a completely different level in modern makeup.
