About outward signs of hormone problems
This is rarely talked about, but our appearance and hormonal status are directly related. Many cosmetic problems have endocrine causes, and without solving them, some cosmetic procedures simply will not work. For example, acne-like inflammations in post-pubertal age indicate hormonal imbalance. A gray coating on the elbows and décolleté is a sign of insulin resistance. Transparent, "parchment skin", especially on the hands, will make the doctor suspect the patient is estrogen deficient.
If a cosmetologist, not noticing endocrine symptoms, conducts laser or injection therapy sessions to the patient, then this is wasted money at best, since the procedures will be ineffective. And at worst, such treatment is fraught with complications in the form of burns, trauma, fibrosis or hyperpigmentation. Therefore, not only a cosmetologist, but also a gynecologist-endocrinologist works with the patients of our clinic, if indicated. He examines patients and prescribes therapy for them.

On the connection between cosmetology and health
A good beautician should learn as much as possible about the patient's health before starting any procedure. You must first make sure that his body is ready for this. Each patient of our clinic at the first visit fills out a questionnaire, where he answers the main questions about his health, after which we consult in detail and, if necessary, prescribe tests. Early menopause, frequent thrush, persistent allergies and seizures in the corners of the mouth, persistent colds, swelling and excess weight - all these are reasons to be on your guard and first check your health, and then solve aesthetic issues.
We stand for an integrated approach to appearance and do not consider beauty in isolation from health. Most real aesthetic issues, be it acne or aging, require an in-house solution, not an attempt to hide the symptoms.

About hormone therapy
Appearance is influenced by three main sex hormones - estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Nature is designed so that we are beautiful while fertile. The most dangerous age for a woman's appearance falls on the period around menopause, and it does not necessarily occur around the age of 50 - sometimes violations in the work of the ovaries are found already at 35. A drop in estrogen levels can age a woman in just six months - facial ligaments stretch, soft sagging begins tissues, the skin becomes thinner. And a beautician alone will not help here - you can put threads or make contour plastics, but this will not improve the quality of the skin: gravity and nature will still take their toll. And if the cosmetologist works in conjunction with an endocrinologist who will select hormone replacement therapy, then the result will delight you much longer. And of course, any aesthetic problem is easier to prevent than to solve - therefore, it makes sense to see a doctor as soon as you stop liking the reflection in the mirror.
