How does melanoma appear, which moles are "at risk" and where you can check your health - we tell you the details.
In total, there are two types of melanomas - congenital and those that appear during life. Each of them may not be dangerous, but some moles should be given increased attention (we told you when to start "sounding the alarm" here).
But in the summer all moles become dangerous, especially if you neglect SPF protection. The bright sun can provoke the appearance of melanomas: the shape of the mole will change and you will feel a slight itching. Taking care of your own health never hurts, because 90% of malignant tumors are treated at an early stage.
On May 21, with the support of the La Roche-Posay brand, Russia will host a melanoma diagnostic day. On this day, you will be able to diagnose moles free of charge by dermatologists in the brand's Dermatological Laboratory.
1200 specialists are participating in the action, and over 11 years of diagnostics, more than 2000 people were saved from the development of malignant tumors.
