I really love experimenting with eye makeup, so in my home collection of eyeshadows there are more than 50 options (yes, there is a separate shelf for them on the dressing table). Most of them have a shining effect: from light shimmer to active, with large sparkles. Sometimes I wake up in the mood to do super makeup and experiment with shades (I never painted my eyes and did the same smoky "according to the instructions"). And it so happens that you need to get together very quickly, and then pigments and shadows come to the rescue, which can be applied with your fingers and which do great solo. I'm telling you about my findings!
Liquid glitter for eyes Diamond Dew, LimeCrime
Space capsule shadows are love at first sight. For one package, you can already put a solid five. But we, beautiholics, of course, go further and check the product for quality and durability. And then the test is one hundred percent passed! Liquid brown eyeshadows last ALL day (and I often have it intense and on the run). Once I applied them in the morning at 9 o'clock before leaving the house and was extremely surprised that everything remained in place by eight o'clock in the evening. And this summer at a pool party I was thrown into the water, and to my surprise, my eye makeup was still there.
They are distributed with a convenient triangular applicator, and you can blend directly with your fingers. In my collection there is a brownish shade of Chocolate Diamond (but in general there are about 10 of them). I expected it to be a rich chocolate color, but in fact, when shading, only a slight toning effect and bright sparkles remain, which, as they say, can be seen from space. I use these eyeshadows both as a backing for dry textures and as a top over dark shades for a rich glow. Easy to wash off with makeup remover gel.

Eyeshadow Distortion Eyeshadow Palette, Urban Decay
A selection of shadows cannot do without the Urban Decay palette. This is a real holiday: an updated palette with interesting shades, an original case and, as always, wonderful quality - a delight! I brought it from New York in February of this year and since then I take it with me on almost every trip. The Distortions palette contains 10 colors + 5 transforming shades (white pigments with various special effects). Use all your imagination and come up with interesting combinations. In the photo I mixed Mind Game: the brush was slightly dampened in water, so the color turned out to be pinkish. As a lower eyeliner, I shade Shag. For dark brown eyes, I recommend trying this option: shade a matte black Blackout on the moving eyelid, and apply purple Rogue on top of it. You will get smokey with a slight shining effect. An alternative to Rouge can be saturated shades with shimmer Velvet, Srash Ralk, Shag, First Offense - they perfectly "fit" on matte black and make the look more expressive. Light Mind Game and Blur can be safely applied under the eyebrow and used instead of a highlighter. But these are all my experiments, and for beginners in makeup, special lines are drawn in the palette that show how you can combine shades with each other.

Eyeshadow Eye Tint, Giorgio Armani
Giorgio Armani met a series of liquid eyeshadows four years ago, when she began her career as a beauty journalist at Allure. And during this time I have never met liquid shadows that would be something better than them, although there were a lot of analogues. First, the phenomenal durability - if you apply them in the morning, by the evening they will be in place (if you are going to a party and need brightness, add another layer). Secondly, the ease of application - hundreds of situations immediately arise in my head when I really shaded these shadows with my finger in express mode, while in a taxi, plane, train, University toilet or even an airport. I ran a handy applicator (like a lip gloss) along the moving surface of the eyelid, blend it with my finger and ran (and if there is time for an arrow or mascara, then at least a ball!). And this story applies to all shades, and there are about 13 of them in the collection, in mine - 6, but I don't give up (and we talked about the latest new product here).
They are good both as a solo and as a base for dry textures and especially as a base for smoky. And this is the third reason I love them: very often Eye Tint (in particular, the 9th shade of Cold Cooper) replaces the base for me, and dry eyeshadows acquire phenomenal durability with them, and still do not roll off. At the same time, to wash off liquid shadows, you only need one cotton pad moistened with micellar water. In the photo I am using the 33rd shade - perfect for office makeup.

Eyeshadow Les 4 Ombres, Candeur et Experience, 268, Chanel
Part of my shadow inventory is occupied by Chanel Quartet, which comes out in almost every collection. A small elegant black case always hides 4 shades, which are “for any occasion” - calm and bright. Since I talked above mainly about shadows with shine, I will share my find with a matte finish. The Candeur et Experience palette appeared in my cosmetic bag in the fall of 2016. I saw Kristen Stewart's “fiery” eye makeup in the brand's advertising campaign and immediately thought: would such an image suit me? When the palette was in my hands, I immediately started experimenting and came to the conclusion: yes, it would do, since the red shade (the brightest color in the palette) comes with a brownish undertone here. I fell in love with this new product, and such a bright, but at the same time, autumn makeup could be seen on me all autumn 2016. In addition to red, it also contains dark brown, light brown, and beige (reminiscent of the color of creme brulee). The latter I often use a solo for express makeup and often combine it with a thin arrow, and mix all four for a bright look: red - for the entire movable eyelid, in the fold and at the outer corner of the eye I shade dark brown, crème brlée - in the inner corner eyes, and emphasize the lower ciliary contour with light brown. Palette Chocolate Gold, Too Faced
I wrote here about the brand's predecessor and great love for her. The novelty did not disappoint: when I lifted the “chocolate” lid, there was a feeling that I was opening a treasure chest - the shadows sparkled so brightly. Chocolate Gold, New Money fuchsia, Money Bags green are the three shades I like to apply solo in Express Mode. In more complex makeup, they will add bright accents. The palette also contains matte shades: Cocoa Truffle, Decadent, Rollin 'in Dough, So Boujee. In the photo I use a shimmery Rich Girl, adding Holla For A Dolla to the outer corners of the eyes.
One of my options for an evening look: I apply New Money to the entire movable eyelid, shade black Decadent in the outer corners of the eye (it is important to shade carefully, it takes time), purple Livin 'Lavish in the fold for a smooth transition, in the inner corners of the eye I distribute “Shining nude” Rich Girl, under the eyebrow - Drippin 'Diamonds, and emphasize the lower lash line with a shade of Holla For A Dolla. The kit comes with instructions that also offer two makeup options. An interesting fact - the eyeshadow contains natural gold and cocoa. They are washed off in a couple of movements with one make-up remover napkin (I talked about my beloved ones here), while holding on quite firmly.
