Now the division of appearance according to color types seems to me irrelevant and outdated. Modern stylists and makeup artists do not use the concept of "color type" in their work.
It is important for us to take into account the individual characteristics of the appearance of the person with whom we work, and based on this, to select certain shades in makeup, clothes and accessories.
Color type is determined by skin tone, eye color, hair. In this regard, they emit a warm, cold, neutral appearance. Further, the color type is endowed with a specific name. The most common option is seasonal, when features of appearance are designated by a certain time of the year. There are 12 color types: from late autumn to bright spring. But even with this variety, there is a chance of confusion. Let me give you a concrete example.
Dita von Teese has a very contrasting appearance: fair skin, black hair and gray-blue eyes. She's basically a cool type, but that doesn't stop her from using red lipstick, for example. After all, red has many shades: from warm to cold, which makes it possible to select a tone for any type of appearance.
Therefore, my advice is universal: choose cold shades for a cold appearance, warm for a warm one! So you will not need to give up specific colors, but only have to navigate in their subtones.

It is no longer advisable to start from standard color types like “autumn, winter, summer, spring”. These are too general concepts. In life, color types are much more diverse and are based on the ratio of light and bright saturated tones.
In color, we can divide natural "lightness" into three groups: natural blonde hair, medium and dark. And "chromaticity" is determined by the shade of the skin and eyes: cold color type, neutral and warm.
It is wiser to move not far from your "lordship". If you have a light color type, then an even lighter color or tone that will be slightly darker than the natural hair color will suit you. If the average, then you can swing at both blond and dark colors.
If your hair is naturally dark, stay in the dark range or “go” to the medium one (2-3 shades lighter). Neutral shades suit everyone. But they tend to be boring. Therefore, they are diluted with lighter strands.
A cold color type should stay in a cold one or experiment with a neutral scale. "Warm" ones also look best in warm or neutral colors. I know from experience that such girls will not be comfortable in cold colors.
