Hollywood Contour Wand Liquid Sculptor, Charlotte Tilbury

Image
Image

Great concept for cream contouring. I even like the color, although not everyone will appreciate it. But the sculptor has a very uneven texture, so it doesn't work on the skin. Watch any of Charlotte Tilberry's videos where this product is always applied unevenly and then shaded off-screen. The same effect can be seen in all blogging videos.

Liquid Strobe Highlighter Base Iridescent Maybelline New York x Gigi Hadid

Image
Image

I love Maybelline and the Hadid sisters, but I didn't appreciate the cream. The shimmer in the composition is excellent, pinkish-peach, not very large, but it is "mixed" in the silicone primer, and because of this it is applied unevenly. I speak for all my lifelong love for Maybelline New York for their cool mascara and more. But this remedy failed. After drying, it emphasizes wrinkles and unevenness, although, on the contrary, it should make the skin smoother, and make-up more pleasant.

Gel eyeliner Lasting Gel Eyeliner, Kiko

Image
Image

Kiko presents excellent seasonal collections, but this gel liner can only be handled by girls with vast experience in drawing arrows and open "sculptural" eyes. For 90% of people, the product will dry on the brush before you bring it to the eyelid. I have never seen such a quick and uncomfortable drying eyeliner.

Pencils-concealers Kill Cover Pro pencil, Clio

Image
Image

The most useless beige pencils on the planet. A good concept (if you want to bring the mucous, you want to mask minor imperfections), but disgusting execution. They draw poorly, the shades are inanimate, the product itself is small, and the lead is very hard.

Mascara Indecent Exposure Mascara, Smashbox

Image
Image

In the Exposure collection I love almost all products, but this mascara does not hold on to my eyelashes at all. She has a very beautiful design, but at the same time the product creates a "panda" effect under any circumstance and regardless of makeup. If you can wear it (I envy you), tell me about it.

Mascara Volume Shake Mascara, Rimmel London

Image
Image

Used mascara several times, leaves a watery finish on the eyelashes. That is, the tool simply paints over them, and you see many thin "needles" in the mirror. Even for natural makeup, this is not enough. Despite the fact that the carcass has a cool packaging, and I gave it several chances, the result is no, it does not fit. I love it when there are a lot of eyelashes, and they are lush.

NYX Liquid Liners

Image
Image

These liners are very cracked. They can only be used on wrinkle-free eyelids. The white liner is especially unbearable.

You can put on makeup, take a photo on Instagram, and that's it - the eyeliner cracks, looks sloppy. The only option is to apply them over the black arrow so that there are no signs of cracks. To be fair, the red and blue shades behave a little better.

Set for contouring Crème Contour and Highlight Kit, KKW Beauty

Image
Image

The contouring agent inside is not bad. It is very thinly shaded, but it is better to type it by hand, and not draw stripes on the face.

But overall, for a stick, the texture is very soft. It would be better if the "queen of contouring" released a more classic palette - it would be much better! And the weight of each stick is 0.9 g! And the brush in the set is just awful.

Highlighter Liquid Glow, Anastasia Beverly Hills

Image
Image

My copy is in Perla shade. This tool does nothing at all! It is completely invisible on the face, as if you applied a moisturizer. There is no light reflection from the word "absolutely".

Hyaluronic powder Hyaluronic Hydra Powder, By Terry

Image
Image

I tried it once and don't feel like it anymore. It gives a very large flare in photos and videos. Like the famous stars with white stripes on their faces.

Foundation #FauxFilter Foundation, Huda Beauty

Image
Image

It smells cruel - a heavy oriental scent. Even though I love peppery smells. But in this case, it’s a greeting from the 40s. The packaging looks very cheap, which cannot be said about the price of the product. I would forgive him all these shortcomings if the tone worked. But on the skin it looks bad: it is very viscous and creates some kind of plaster mask. And after 15 minutes, the product begins to clog into all the wrinkles.

Palette Safari, Natasha Denona

Image
Image

This palette is controversial for me in terms of color and application. I'm not a super fan of these colors. The first thing that caught my eye - all the shades are dusty (each has a lot of white pigment). Usually such products are poorly shaded. The swatch shows that the shadows have not very good pigmentation.

Powder for eyebrows Make Me Brow Eyebrow Powder, Essence

Image
Image

Even a makeup artist cannot cope with this tool. Firstly, you need to open it for a long time and slowly, otherwise it will start to crumble. Secondly, the strokes are very strong, the shade is saturated and the powder is distributed around the eyebrows - then all this has to be cleaned and shaded for a long time. I don’t understand for whom it was created.

Lipstick Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour, MAC

Image
Image

I used a High Drama shade. When I saw him, I thought that it would be great to create autumn looks with such lipstick. But in fact, it turned out that the lipstick does not fit on the lips (no matter how many layers you apply). To achieve exactly uniform coverage, you need 10 layers! But then you simply cannot erase it - it lies on your lips with a crust.

Lipstick Millebaci, Nouba

Image
Image

Now Nouba lipsticks are absolutely not the same products that we used when red shades burst into our daily life. To apply it neatly, you still need to try (at least 2-3 layers). But the most uncomfortable thing is the sock. When you start eating or drinking (even through a straw) in the central part of your lips, the lipstick rolls off and literally falls off. You start to correct it, but nothing helps - the product still rolls off. It is also extremely difficult to wash it off.

Mascara Sport Addicted, Pupa

Image
Image

What does mascara have to do to get into the category of beauty disappointments? I asked myself, and I myself thought about my question, because for a long time none of the new products in this category upset me.

The PUPA Sport Addicted line itself, dedicated to how girls would look good during (and after) sports, is not bad in itself, but their mascara did not succeed at all from the word. Very dry, hard, with a huge spiky brush, while quickly rolling into lumps on the eyelashes. The result is scary and stuck together. No, no, I don't want to see such "beauty" even in the gym!

Dry shampoo Volume Lift, SYOSS

Image
Image

It's hard to tell what's wrong with dry shampoo, which just doesn't do anything. Nothing at all. Absolutely nothing. Zero effect. No volume, no clean hair - n-and-w-e-g-o.

On the one hand, in my life as a blogger, I have tried many dry shampoos, and believe me: "no" effect is much better than when your hair hangs down with tow, because another novelty has simply glued them together. On the other hand, the point is clearly not the cheapness of this global disappointment (after all, someone probably thought that I was a beauty snob): I know a lot of dry shampoos from the mass market that do not allow themselves this kind, but on the contrary, they do their job on full-fledged 5+.

In general, I still don’t know what it was. It seems to me that the spray with plain water has even more effect than this thing.

Hair Line "Nutrition and Recovery", HEYA Luxury

Image
Image

When the next howl begins on the topic "We will all die from shampoos with silicones and parabens in the composition", it seems to me that personally I will die from pseudo-natural shampoos that do not wash, do not cleanse the scalp, and generally take up space in the bathroom for nothing.

This line from HEYA Luxury caused just such emotions. What's in her lineup? A cocktail of nine algae, a complex of 11 amino acids, wheat proteins, essential oils of neroli and lemon, bean seed extract, biofunctional carob piptides, cystoseira extract, D-Panthenol … Promises - additional nourishment and hydration of hair, increased strength, color retention colored and highlighted hair and even improving its structure!

What is the result? Yes, in general, and nothing. So many words, but in fact - zero. Shampoo and balm from this line left almost no impression. Thank you for washing yourself at least. But that's all. I expected more, to be honest.

Maybe it's worth trying another line?

Eau de parfum World, Kenzo

Image
Image

One of the most high-profile perfume launches at the end of last year did not leave anyone indifferent. On the Internet, battles of “for” and “against” flashed every now and then: “original sound” VS “banal simplicity of composition”, as well as “fresh idea” VS “how it can be worn at all”. True, the militant parties were in solidarity in some ways: the advertising campaign of the fragrance was a success.

For me personally, Kenzo World did not "go" from the word at all. It "sits" extremely badly on the skin, quickly turns into some kind of soapy unpleasant substance. Neither in the fall nor in the winter I could find in it at least something for which one could love it and at least sometimes wear it. I absolutely love the notes of peony and sweet red berries in it, but how incredibly they turn into a suffocating cloud by the end of the day is a mystery to me.

Scented candle Relax, Clarins

Image
Image

Another fragrant disappointment. To my great regret, in fact, because I just adore candles - I am ready to buy them on an industrial scale and light something new every day.

As you might guess from the name, the scent of Clarins Relax candle is in many ways identical to their Relax oil of the same name. If you like it - as they say, welcome. This means that the candle will also find a place in your heart. Ideally, it should soothe, relax, pacify … The composition contains pure essential oils of geranium, chamomile, basil and orange.

Everything sounds beautiful. And even nice. But personally, I literally have a headache from this candle: there can be no question of any relaxation. I am not against bright and tasty aromas, but this smell gives me a naturally annoying "ringing" in my head. Too loud, too unpleasant.

I fully admit that this is my personal history of rejection, so before buying, I recommend that you thoroughly familiarize yourself with the fragrance in advance.
