The main trends of this summer
Perhaps the main trend of this season is dyeing in yellow, and not that unfortunate blond when the hair is lightened and not tinted, but a direct yellow pigment. Such a bright shade helps to quickly create an ultra-modern look. But not everyone dares to make radical changes: instead of yellow, you can choose an intense golden hue.
In the states, "rainbow prism" coloring is now very popular - most often it is done on a blond. Imagine a girl with a rainbow spectrum breaking up in her hair as if she was standing at a stained glass window. Such a light pastel highlight will refresh the image, while you do not need to dye all your hair. In America, they often paint a la gasoline stain - all the colors of the rainbow creep into the curls in spots.
Blondes do not give up their positions - there are a huge number of options. Most often now they dye their hair in pastel shades of purple and pink or choose the coloring "rose quartz". And for a great example, check out Hailey Baldwin's hair color at the last Met Gala. For brunettes, the advice is simple: the color of the mood is blue! This color will look especially advantageous on hair of cold shades. You can also consider the selection of strands with fuchsia.
Last year, blorange became popular - a combination of blond and orange. This is not Mila Jovovich in The Fifth Element (although for the summer - why not?), But rather an orange milkshake - the shade should be muted. Blorange refreshes the complexion well, but if you have a pink or reddish skin tone, I would not recommend such a coloring.
Anti-trends in coloring
Any stylist will now tell you that it is no longer fashionable and not interesting to paint beauty on hair. It's like in make-up - before everyone did active contouring and completely changed their face, but now nude reigns. Makeup trends are also moving to hair - girls choose calmer shades that are close to natural. These are very soft color transitions, a choice of non-contrasting shades, and even if there are selected strands, they differ by a maximum of two tones from the natural hair color. Therefore, it is still better to refuse from bright highlighting and contrasting "flashy" ombre.
A lot of brunettes still love to do red accents - but I think it's a 90s echo. A year ago, at an international competition, I saw such a dyeing option from Japan, and for them it seemed the norm - black hair, red ends. But still, I believe that if you want to paint red, but do it along the entire length and be like Ariel.
What paint to choose and how to prolong color fastness
For color dyeing in most cases, direct pigment is taken, I work with Colorful Hair from L'Oréal Professionnel. You need to understand that the hair must be prepared, and if you want the shade to be bright, it must be pre-lightened. Often, girls apply some kind of shade to natural hair, but it does not appear as it should. That is why there must be a good light base for the color.
The color fastness depends on the shade you choose: if we talk about pastel pink paints, they will be washed off after two or three washes. Rich crimson tones on hair will last longer due to the durability of the pigment itself. And if you choose a blue, turquoise or green shade, then you don't have to worry about brightness and durability - these colors last for more than a month.
For those who do not want to dye their hair for a long time, brands produce sprays and colored hair extensions. It was fashionable last year to weave bright fake tresses into braids, and this summer the trend will return too. It is comfortable and bright - it has increased and you don't rack your brains for a week what to do with your hair. But you shouldn't be afraid to dye your hair either - now you can add the Smartbond component to the dye. Due to maleic acid, it protects the keratin bonds of the hair from damage, so you can paint in new colors at least every week and not worry about the quality of your hair.
