“I am totally against the statement: you shouldn't eat after 6 pm. You shouldn't gorge yourself three hours before bedtime, but you can't skip dinner. My rule: it should fit in the palm of your hand - that's about 20% of the daily diet. I love fish and seafood. And you don't have to choose expensive fish or buy tiger prawns. Here is a very simple and affordable recipe that everyone in our family just adores."
Homemade meatballs s cod with oat flakes

Ingredients:
Cod - 800 g
Egg - 1 piece
Oatmeal - 4 tbsp. l.
Onions - 2-4 pieces
Garlic - 2-4 cloves
Ground black pepper - a pinch
Salt - to taste
Olive oil - 3 tbsp. l.
How to cook:
Remove the frozen fish from the chamber and let it thaw at room temperature. If you don't have time and need to cook right now, you can defrost fish in the microwave. Wash the carcasses, remove the entrails and peel them off. Separate the meat from the bones. Peel off the skin. Pass the fillet through a meat grinder.
Peel the onion and garlic, grind and add to the minced meat. Salt. Pepper. Add the oatmeal, egg and stir. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Form cutlets from the minced meat and place them in a frying pan greased with vegetable oil. Fry over medium heat until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes) on each side. Put the finished fish cakes on a napkin to remove excess oil. For a more dietary meal, bake the cutlets in the oven. That is the whole secret of THIS wonderful dish.
