Of the intensive care products for us, the most important are moisturizing masks - dense, light, soothing and healing. BeautyHack special correspondent Moore Soboleva made a selection of new products and her own favorites.
HydraQuench Cream-Mask, Clarins
Probably my favorite moisturizing mask of all time - a magic dense cream that simultaneously moisturizes and nourishes, saving the skin even in hellish cold. The good HydraQuench line is now slowly being replaced by the brand new Hydra-Essentiel (since there is no limit to perfection), but the mask has remained in the previous formula so far - and hurray.
Express Flower Gel, Sisley
Along with the eye mask, one of Sisley's biggest hits is that Express Flower Gel has been described by some as the best moisturizing mask in the world. As part of this light remedy, oils and rose water, the mask is great soothing, and most importantly - you need to keep it for only three minutes (if you have time, it can be longer). Super remedy before a surprise party.
Moisturizing Mask, Caudalie
The brand updated its line of masks a couple of years ago, but the composition of this one was kept the same, changing only the packaging. This is a fairly light product - not the most moisturizing in my collection - and works well for oily skin too. In particular, the mask is good because it can be used both on the skin around the eyes and as a night remedy.
Hydra Intensive Cooling Mask, iS Clinical
The brand, on the means of which they work in my beloved “Petrovka-Beauty”, like many professional brands, also has a line for home use. Hydra Intensive Cooling Mask is a clear bluish gel with a strong alcoholic scent. Despite my concerns, it really moisturizes and cools (at iS Clinical they love menthol) and slightly tightens the skin.
Moisturizing With a Mask, Valmont
I would even call this dense mask, thickly smelling of rose, nourishing - it seems to envelop the skin and remove any dryness for a long time, especially if you do not forget to cover it with cream. The brand recommends using the remedy as a course in the off-season and in a stressful period - even for those who have a stressful period almost always. In the summer, it is enough to apply the product once a week, and in the winter it can really save you.
Skinovage Intensifier Refreshing Foam Mask, Babor
In the laboratories of the German brand, modern technologies are respected, in particular, foam masks - a super-trendy formula, which is believed to be especially active in saturating the skin with oxygen (and, accordingly, makes cells renew faster and better). Babor loves such masks - in addition to anti-aging, there is also such a moisturizing option, which improves the complexion quite well.
Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque, Kiehl's
The freshest novelty is an aloe-based gel mask with a pungent herbaceous scent. The gel cools the skin a little (it will be super in summer) and visually smoothes it a little. Kiehl's masks have been very successful lately; My only complaint is the fact that Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque has to be washed off - the gel is somewhat sticky.
Masque Crème Fraîche de Beauté, Nuxe
A light express mask with a strong perfume, similar in texture to an emulsion, absorbs quickly and slightly cools the skin. It can be used around the eyes (for me this is always an added bonus); I would call it a summer rather than a winter option - a good permanent skin care product without any problems or, for example, an express option after a flight.
Source Marine Ultra Hydra-Marine Mask, Thalgo
I really like masks that need to be applied with a brush built into the tube - in my opinion, this is the most hygienic and convenient way. Source Marine Ultra Hydra-Marine Mask is a creamy moisturizing mask that is good at any time of the year: it removes flakiness and does not overload the skin. My favorite option for traveling - firstly, it regenerates the skin well, and secondly, nothing will spill in such a bottle.
Masque-Crème Anti-Stress, Cellcosmet
A mask that offers all the best at once: matting (in the composition - different types of clay), and moisturizing, and anti-aging effect. It is interesting in that, despite the clay in the composition, it is suitable for sensitive and irritated skin - and soothes, and at the same time narrows the pores (which, for example, is important after a flight). The texture is dense, the price, as usual at Cellcosmet, is merciless.
