This year I decided to have a holiday! And what a holiday without red lipstick and sparkles?

The proofreader works wonders as well as a magic wand. The last weeks before the New Year are in the "squirrel in a wheel" mode, and lack of sleep is my faithful companion.

The fact that they contain real silver was decisive. I am the kind of person who can easily sprinkle glitter on the eyelids at 7 am and go jostling on the subway on the way to work. In order not to look like a Christmas tree in everyday reality, I do all the rest of my makeup neutral and don't even dye my eyelashes. But for a holiday, of course, you can afford full-glam: apply glitter over the eyeshadow and take the most voluminous mascara.

I decided to play with cold and warm colors. I applied Concrete in a reddish brown Chestnut shade to the crease of the eyelids and mixed it with Texture Master Liquid. The liquid transforms the dense pigment into a translucent "watercolor" and helps to blend the borders more thoroughly. She emphasized the outer corner with dark gray loose shadows, and applied Argentum to the inner corner.

For the glitters to hold well, they need to be mixed with the Texture Master Cream, and I just took a sticky base under the eyeshadow - it worked!

In our editorial office, I am the main adherent of budget funds - I think that many of them are no worse than luxury. The French brand is an excellent confirmation of this. Therefore, when I saw the Merci anniversary collection on sale, I ran to empty the shelves. The first thing that caught my eye was a highlighter (because these funds in an affordable price category usually do not differ in quality). But this tool refuted the theory - the stick is beautiful in every way.

The shade is not universal (yet there is a noticeable pink glow on the cheekbones). But for a New Year's look, this is the coolest option (especially if you are against glitter feathers and do not even try to outdo the tree). In one of my holiday makeup, this will be the main accent.

Radiance is not cheap, but very expensive and beautiful. It is applied comfortably (straight from the stick) and does not get naughty when you layering the shade for an active glow. Blend it with your fingertips - the creamy consistency is not very "friendly" with a brush. But this is good - who has time for high-quality shading when there is a duck in the oven, a mess on the table, and guests are already at the door?
