Pink's Not Dead: Swatch Hot Pink Lipsticks

In the fall, everyone is uncovering nude shades and dramatic lipsticks (and so are we), but a little fun doesn't hurt either. BeautyHack special correspondent Moore Soboleva tested 14 bright pink lipsticks, and Asya Zabavskaya photographed.

Ultra-Rich Lip Color, shade Loulou, Tom Ford

Lipstick from the newest Boys & Girls line: if the previous one, Lips & Boys, was dedicated to the men who inspired Ford, then here the girls were not offended either. Lipsticks in the series exist in two textures - creamy and translucent. The mauve Loulou belongs to the first.

Velvet Lip Glide, shade Danceteria, NARS

This delightfully vibrant fuchsia belongs to the beautiful new Velvet Lip Glide series: a combo of long-lasting lipstick and glossy lip gloss. Perfectly smoothes the relief, keeps the contour and delicately comes off, leaving a delicate tint.

Meet Matt (e) Hughes, Chivalrous, theBalm

TheBalm's liquid matte lipsticks come out almost perfect - very persistent, easy to apply, do not turn lips into a desert, the names are cute, and the colors are such that you want to wear them and wear them. To the original nine shades, nine more have been added over the past year, including the jovial Chivalrous.

Rouge-Expert Click Stick, Flamingo Kiss, By Terry

Classic, slightly bleached pink is one of those shades that can serve as an independent accent and accompany bright makeup. The Rouge-Expert Click Stick is a bit dry, matte and very long-lasting, and the comfortable drop-shaped stick deserves further praise.

Rouge Pur Couture The Mats, shade 224 Rose Ink, YSL

The sister of gentle Rose Illicite that we showed off last week is fuchsia Rose Ink. The brand is great at variations on the theme of bright pink: their satin Le Fuchsia from the classic line has remained a reference for many years. In life, the color is much brighter than in our photo - it is almost neon.

Matmoiselle, shade Macaron, L'etoile Selection

L'Etoile Selection's new line, Matmoiselle, consists of seven shades of liquid lipsticks. Everything is very nice: the packaging is unexpectedly nice (matte black tube, shades are visible through the transparent letters), the names refer to desserts. The texture is promised matte, but it is rather satin - comfortable on the lips and lies flat. Macaron - pink with a coral undertone.

Vice Liquid Lipstick, ZZ, Urban Decay

In the classic version of Vice lipsticks, this shade is made creamy, while liquid lipstick is uncompromisingly matte. Lays down, however, very evenly, without emphasizing peeling. ZZ is one of those (many) cases when the brand managed to make a more or less ordinary color interesting: here, lavender was generously added to pink.

Pure Color Love, shade Radical Chic, Estée Lauder

Lipstick from the new youth series of the Pure Color Love brand, whose face is one of the princesses of Instagram Kendall Jenner. Radical Chic is a warm pink color, quite dense: the brand recommends mixing these with lipstick toppers.

Matt Sublime LIpstick, shade 609 Fuchsia, Wycon

The brand has so many shades, lines and collections that it is not surprising to get confused in them. Among the many unusual things like long-lasting gel lipsticks, there are more familiar to us - for example, classic matte lipsticks in a stick - which they succeed just as well. The latest Fuchsia is a clear and pleasant balanced shade.

Giordani Gold Heritage, Fresh Pink, Oriflame

The Giordani Gold line has existed with Oriflame for more than forty years and all these years has remained the most expensive in the range - within its framework, the brand produces both decorative cosmetics and numerous perfumes. Fresh Pink is a rich warm pink.

Matte Magnifique shade 214 by Vivienne Sabo

Vivienne Sabo liquid lipsticks turned out to be not very matte, but worthy of attention and love: they fit thinly, brightly and evenly from one layer. 214 is a nice reddish pink, bold enough for a conventional brand like Vivienne Sabo. The main disadvantage is a strong synthetic fragrance.
