Wondering which image to choose for the upcoming celebration? So the stars have come together that this year the festive makeup should be really bright and sparkling: the year of the Fire Rooster is on the nose, plus shining textures and glitter have been ruling the show on the catwalks and red carpet for several seasons. We decided to share the New Year's mood with you and offer three options for New Year's makeup. Our model - actress Natalia Bardo - commented on each bow and even chose one of them for the party.
Pure silver

For the first look, we chose a laconic nude makeup, but added a silver glitter to the eyelids, which was fixed with Maybelline's Baby Lips lip balm. Eyelashes can be safely left unpainted: mascara can destroy the "cosmic" effect. Do not forget about eyebrows: they should be lush, but without a clear outline, so make-up artist Maria Pyrenkova chose Couture Brow gel from Yves Saint Laurent, which fixes and slightly sets hairs.
“I really like it when there is a raisin in a natural make-up,” comments Natalia Bardo. - It is worth adding sparkles, and daytime makeup turns into evening, almost catwalk. I think if I go to the celebration like that, everyone will decide that I am straight from a fashion show, and they will be interested in what kind of shadow I have."
Guest from the future

The latest trend from catwalks and red carpets is lip glitter. At the base is the same light daytime makeup, only the makeup artist added Lime Crime lipstick in Perlees Mirage shade (pink metallic) and Maybelline balm as a base, and then applied several shades of glitter with a flat brush to get a 3-D effect. We chose black, silver and pearlescent pink, but you can experiment with any shades, from beige to blue - when, if not on New Year's Eve, let your imagination run wild. We complemented the shining lips with a torn eyeliner using Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner: this simple technique visually enlarges them and adds a festive look. A little Yves Saint Laurent Babydoll mascara and you're done!
“I watch the latest trends in makeup, and I like such unexpected looks more and more,” says Natalya. - I’m unlikely to decide on such a makeup, even for a party, but it is great for a photo shoot or performance. If I worked in show business, I would certainly appear on stage with glitter on my lips - this is really new and fresh!"
And in the forehead the star is burning

We were inspired to create the third look by the style of the users of the tumblr network (tumblr-girls): girls adorn themselves with shiny stickers, rhinestones and sequins. For the New Year's make-up, we chose large silver glitter in the form of stars and glued them to the cheekbones using the same Maybelline balm. In this look, nothing should distract attention from the shining details, so we applied foundation to the lips, but lipstick in natural shades will work. Leaving your eyes without makeup doesn't make the look really festive, so make-up artist Maria used pink and gold glitter to add a subtle accent to the lids.
“I have long dreamed of trying on an image with large sparkles on my face,” Natalya admits. - I like these stars so much that I will gladly celebrate the New Year with such a make-up. By the way, pink-gold sparkles also enhance the blue of my eyes!"
