Hello BeautyHack ! My name is Lyubov, I am twenty two years old and I want to share my story about how I came to a healthy lifestyle.
It all started when I was 15 years old. I was on my way to music school when I was suddenly called by a tall, thin girl who introduced herself as the director of a modeling agency. She handed me a business card and invited me to the casting.
I must say that from early childhood I was a very active child: from the age of three I was engaged in dancing, then - vocals and music. Like many girls, she dreamed of becoming a singer, then a top model, and also Miss World and a doctor - why limit herself to one thing?
Then the transitional age began, and with it the weight gain. Of course, the parents were worried. The number of workouts increased, the hated running appeared (what should I do?) And “teachers” with tips: “I know how, let me help”, “Look at Vodianova”, “Here's a magazine for you”, “Here's a recipe for you” … For the sake of Paris and Milan used all diets, but my weight remained the same. My mother said that by the age of 18 I would drop it naturally, but "I want to magu" followed up with "You don't understand anything."
At 18, as my mother predicted, I was like a snake that shed its scales: in 1.5 weeks I lost weight from 60 to 53 kg. But by that time I already had other "must", "must", "necessary", so I accepted local proposals. I took part in beauty contests and even won, but I took everything easier, opening new horizons for myself.

I went in for ballroom dancing, then a fitness room was added. I also trained at home - with dumbbells and a fitness ball. My weight became more stable, by trial and error, I figured out the products that lead to his gain. Green shops, vegetable markets and fairs are on my list of favorite places.

After Lent, I realized that I eat meat not because I love it or need it, but because of habit. When I lived with my parents, they cooked both meat and poultry, and I ate it as a sign of respect for family traditions. And even a thought did not arise, which could be somehow different.
In the fall of 2014, I moved to Moscow. At that time I no longer ate meat, weighed 53 kg, was engaged in Pole Dance Sport, quit smoking and took dietary supplements "Siberian Health". But the experience with the juice detox was unsuccessful: the previous weight quickly returned, because I did not know how to carry out this procedure correctly.
Now, when I come to visit my parents, every day I try to walk 20-25 km along the sea: after that I breathe easily and sleep soundly. Wake up before sunrise, practice qigong, meditate.
Last winter, I took part in an online sports marathon: I learned to adjust my diet, counted calories and PJU, ate 5-6 times a day, and did exercises according to video instructions. I included Whey Gold Standard protein and L-Carnitine in my diet.
Now I can say with confidence that online marathons are very effective. First, there is moral support - you are not alone in reaching the goal. Secondly, you can always turn to the “leader” and ask if you are eating and exercising correctly. Thirdly, this is communication and exchange of information: you can comment, share recipes, gain allies. I participated in a four-week marathon, and then for two weeks solidified the result with a keto diet (then I still ate fish, seafood and cheese).
Recently I tried fasting according to the method of Marva Ohanyan, a naturopathic physician and biochemist with 45 years of experience in medicine. In 21 days, a lot has changed in my attitude to food and lifestyle in general. I felt a surge of strength, lightness. This technique not only cleanses you from the inside, helps to reboot the immune system, but also affects your "mental body". I realized that people spend a lot of time, money and energy on all sorts of procedures with cosmetologists, but at the same time they are completely "clogged" inside. No wonder they say that all skin problems are the result of nutrition and the internal state of the body.

I am not suggesting that meat is bad, but being a raw foodist is good. I just chose this path for myself. One must be able to respect the choice and truth of the other.
For two years now I have not eaten meat, for a year and a half I have not drunk alcohol and coffee, I have not smoked. In the morning I drink warm water with lemon (helps the body to remove toxins, improves intestinal motility), and then coconut water - a natural energetic with a lot of vitamins, micro- and macroelements. I eat fruits and vegetables (fresh and baked), tofu, nuts, broccoli, spinach. I eat an avocado every day. Favorite freshly squeezed juice is a mix of beets, green apples and celery.
Every day I devote 30-60 minutes to cardio (cycling, running), doing the bar, and at the end of the session I do the stretching. I devote time to yoga twice a week. For a flat stomach, I recommend the "Vacuum" exercise, which should be done on an empty stomach (YouTube to help). If I am leaving for the weekend and there is no way to go to the gym, I work out in a hotel room or on the street - 20 minutes is enough to keep in shape. It can be planks, push-ups, cycling - there are always options.
Every morning I start with a contrast shower: it is good for the skin and for strengthening the body as a whole. After shampoo, I wash my hair with a decoction of nettle and chamomile - this strengthens them and stimulates growth (like a contrast shower, by the way). I wipe my face with ice cubes with a decoction of chamomile - this ancient technique has an anti-inflammatory, soothing, moisturizing and rejuvenating effect.
For my body I use vegan soap, coconut oil, Schmidt's vegan deodorant.
